one of Americas most steadfast allies, Germany
Yeah, thanks a bunch for all the times the Germans have been there for us. I'm trying to think of one...

Yes, and one example of Pelosis shame was when she donned a head scarf to kiss the azzes of the oppressive muzzies. Then she comes home to lecture Americans about patriarchy.

We do seem to have a lot of AINOS. Ally in name only.
You have a mutually beneficial relationship with an ally.
Mexico...not so much
Europe...not so much
and on and on

Just to comment on the real effect of the NATO partners shirking their defense contributions and on top of that placing protectionist tariffs on our goods:
Realize that they are skimming this money off the backs of the hard-working American citizens. Their citizens take a month “holiday” every year while we are slaving to pay our taxes and theirs, too. Personally, I am 180 degrees away from embarrassed by Trump calling them out. He is absolutely right and, by doing this, he is looking out for the American taxpayer/ working man. I am big-time p1$$ed at the Euro-thieves of NATO . . . let’s put the blame precisely where it lies.

“President Trumps brazen insults and denigration of one of Americas most steadfast allies, Germany, is an embarrassment. His behavior this morning is another profoundly disturbing signal that the president is more loyal to [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin than to our NATO allies,” Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer(D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-N.Y.) said in a joint statement.”
Notice that (Russian) and (Vladimir) were inserted into the text of their comments. The good news is that the RAT voters don’t know who Putin is, and they still don’t.
For all they know “president Putin” is the “president of Lower Sobovia, which is what Russia really is today, but they don’t know that either!

“its a framed response and generally doesnt mean anything in a clear way.”
Yes. A bit reminscent of that Star Trek episode where they have the “Fuhrer” reciting words strung together that sound good but mean nothing. Everyone applauds yet has no idea what he said. That is how our media acts when these leftists spout their nonsense.

Trump is delivering a message. Merkel, May and Macron, the 3M dunces, dont get it.... Exactly...and here is the message loud and clear.
"....So were going to have to do something because were not going to put up with it. We cant put up with it. And its inappropriate.
That's a direct quote, clipped from the White House transcript of the event.

Think the MSM will lead with that quote?

President Trumps brazen insults and denigration of one of Americas most steadfast allies, Germany, is an embarrassment. His behavior this morning is another profoundly disturbing signal that the president is more loyal to [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin than to our NATO allies," If Germany purchased gas elsewhere it would torpedo the Russian economy, so how is that being loyal to Russia. These people are imbeciles.

Never put Democrats in charge of national defense. These morons do not seem to recognize a conflict of interest when they see one. Here Germany has infected all of the European Union with a growing cancer of unassimilable, volatile invaders who breed at four times the rate of Europeans, and now makes a deal with Russiaand we are not only supposed to pay for NATO, we are also supposed to defend Germany if needed because of NATO? Such as if there is an outbreak of war on the continent due to their own improvident immigration policies? I don't think so. I'm just glad our President didn't
overturn the dining table when speaking to them about it.
