Had doctor appointment yesterday in Upstate South Carolina. The patient information form had a question for preferred promnoun. So this madness is starting already.
As to how a doctor would keep track of a preferred pronoun so as to not run afoul of the law or regulation, the info is input into the electronic health record.
Duuuude. You're already there. The examination phase is well in the past. The eradication phase is what is needed.
...and my comment would be, just contemplate the possible results just ten year away. That would be two elections from now for President of the United States of Amerika.
When the US was young, and people started moving west, they didn’t have the advantage of having many settlements with their theory of life and happiness here to mingle into. Factually, all they really had was American Indian settlements that, at best, ignored them as much as possible. So people formed their own communities. Many of today’s areas were settled this way: Utah was Mormon, California was the gold rush, a lot of the southwest was silver mining, Las Vegas was recreation like prostitution.......and a few of those still are in existence today like Utah and Las Vegas, still doing the same thing. (Probably because they remained profitable even now)
Transgenders are citizens. They pay taxes, they are expected to follow the laws in effect in the area they reside, they drive cars, and many have families that go to school. It is not my position to judge them as strange wishing to change God’s work, even though I do have negative opinions. But I do not see the reasoning in forcing me to accept and be subservient to their lifestyle when I am not forcing them to be so to mine. Their opinions are of no consequence to me so mine should not be to them. They are just as equal as I am, until they say I have to practice their lifestyle and opinions by force thus changing my lifestyle. They then cross the line. We threw some tea in the harbor for that.

Agreed. Gender is the sociological manifestation of biological sex. There may be rare pathological deviations from this norm but it is not something that the whole of society should be forced to accept as a desirable or viable alternative.
Hire doctors by high marks in pc language and by color or lbgt status.
However, you might see a decline in quality medicine.
But on the good side you are getting high marks with the left!
Some of these nutjobs insist on being referred to as “they/them”. Why do we humor these freaks? What agency or bureau came down with the edict that this gender BS has merit and must be adhered to?
The company I retired from had so many dykes in HR that one was afraid to speak out for fear of reprisal. I was nearly sent to a reeducation camp for openly refusing to celebrate homo pride month. This is one tactic to shut people up. Threaten their livelihoods for being noncompliant. More or less what happened to the UK doc in the article.

Hmmm, I think I will put in two words to the preferred personal pronoun checkbox:

and they would be “Your Highness”
Then with all the transparency and info-share eventually I could expect to be called “Your Highness” at traffic stops or perhaps at the post office, or maybe even my junk mail would be addressed to “Your Highness.”
It would be an interesting test.
There is a way to form valid objective concepts. The steps involve abstraction of similarities from differences, integration, attachment of a word, definition formation, and measurement omission. Objective concepts are not arbitrary, capricious, or subjective. And they are not floating abstractions. Objective concepts are required for the formation of objective values, objective truth, and objective knowledge. Transgendered pronouns based on one's subjective feelings is a total rejection of objectivity.
