Bad idea.
I KNOW it sounds so much like meekness and timidity, but it takes a lot of strength not to get trolled into overreacting.
These are troll tactics by the left, and the goal is to get members of the Trump administration to lash out, or take a swing.... all for the purpose of destroying them in the media once they do.
It’s basically like when in football you stealth-fully play dirty tricks on your opposite player til they finally take a swing, which the ref will inevitably only see the retaliation and throw the flag.
This stuff started during the Trump rallies.
We heard the reports of these irate trolls saying and doing the most vile and sometimes violent things.
I was always amazed with all of the thousands and tens of thousands of participants at these rallies that there were soooo few incidents of retaliation. This was the perfect response; no response. They were never given the video clips they wanted of “Trump supporters turn violent”. CNN/MSNBC/NYT would have run the narrative constantly if they could just have got that perfect video clip.
Of course, we found out later that some organizations with DNC links were actually paying and sending in these trolls.
Make now mistake, this stuff is organized. It’s not incidental. It’s not grassroots and it’s not genuine. It’s pure ploy trolling.
The worst thing you can do is overreact to them.
This is EXACTLY what's going on.
Our retaliation should be doing the same thing to DEMOCRAT officials in public, if this stuff doesn't stop soon.
It must also be said that the Left wants agencies like the IRS to over-react and audit some of these perps like they would be IMMEDIATELY audited for harassment purposes under a Democrat administration.
Then, the press would start screaming about "IRS abuses" - after nary a word about Lois Lerner and her merry band of IRS fascists...
I don’t agree about the origin, it is grassroots.
The mass hysteria over Trumps win has overrun millions, and some of them are acting out.
In fact this all reminds me of when Iraq launched Scud missles at Israel during the first Iraq War. Iraq's chief intent wasn't to harm Israel but to force a response that caused the coalition to crumble. Israel exercised great restraint and she didn't retaliate.
It is sort of the same thing here. Indeed, all you need is a few brawls and the phrase "Brownshirt" will start trending.
My point was rather that these DNC dopes haven't any backbone. I suspect if they encounter any resistance they'd crawl back into the drain. And yes....I agree we needn't get sucked into their trap. Well-put and thank you.
