British foreign minister Boris Johnson resigned on Monday, following former-Brexit minister David Davis out of the cabinet just days after Prime Minister Theresa May secured a hard-won agreement from senior ministers on an EU exit strategy.

"This afternoon, the Prime Minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary. His replacement will be announced shortly. The Prime Minister thanks Boris for his work, an emailed statement from May's office said.

There might be a palace coup to oust May and then with the Tories having a slim majority in Parliament snap elections might happen.

He seems like a guy with some rare common sense, though I don’t know much about him.

I think the pro-May crowd had the cards on the table for a high-cost BREXIT exit, to get favorable conditions via EU. The other negative card is the attempt to hold down Tommy Robinson, in the prison system.

My guess is that both the Tories and the Labour Party will lose votes in this snap election (if it occurs) because of Tommy Robinson. Oddly, more than a third of the voters may make a bigger deal about Robinson, than BREXIT.

Snap elections sound good. Let the people have their say again. We’ll see if there are any patriots left in the UK.

May and the rest of the liberal bosses refuse to obey the will of the people and leave the European Union. It’s May who should tossed out. The people have spoken,

Don’t know a lot about British politics but what I do know (or *think* I know) suggests that these big resignations are meant to force May from office and/or force another election.

The EU owns you. Just another way for Germany to control a huge population.

The uniparty has a stranglehold on the UK.

When Trump goes over he should announce a new immigration policy: Fast track for talented, law-abiding, taxpaying Brits who have the nous to get the Hell out.

Brain drain, baby! Bring it!

It's a dead common House of Commons.

Maybe the political turbulence will force Trump to postpone (or cancel) his visit.

I hope so...

Theresa May has been a disaster as PM. This Brexit plan looks like total surrender to Brussels and is not at all what Brits voted for. Hopefully her government will fall.

Oh and as a nice backhand to the establishment there, if they’re going to let a balloon fly over London the express purpose of which is to show up President Trump, he should return the favor by expressly and openly meeting with Nigel Farage which they don’t want him to do. Tit for tat.
