Nobody had a greater loathing for Mexicans than the left's much-vaunted Argentine Castroite 'revolutionary,' Ernesto 'Che' Guevara.
“Mexicans are mostly a rabble of illiterate Indians,” the great Che summed that nation's people up. Guevara makes President Trump with his controversial remarks about individual Mexicans who commit crimes look like a piker. Guevara hated all of them.

Interesting article, on two fronts.
First, Obrador sounds more historically nutty than practical, despite his making nice to Trump on the telephone.
Second, next time I’m bothered by some Lefty, I can play the Jeopardy game with this quote:

Nothing but nothing irritates the Left more than when inconvenient facts interfere with the political narrative. If you ever get to know white South Americans it is evident that Guevara’s opinions are not all that uncommon.

Notice the ones coming across the border aren't the lighter-skinned, Spaniard-looking ruling and middle-class Mexicans? The ones who speak Spanish and English? That's because they're happy in Mexico. They're doing just fine. And they'd be happier if there were less Mestizos to deal with.
I know South Americans who have nothing but contempt for Mexicans.
Mexicans tend to have equal contempt for everyone else. Not all of them, just a lot of them.

When I was in Peru, 50 years ago they called their red-light districts Mexico. I thought it was odd then but now I understand.
This is very true. They are trying to get rid of the mestizo class. You never see any light skinned castilians coming across the border.
