Special counsel Robert Mueller is tapping additional Justice Department resources for help with new legal battles as his year-old investigation of Russian interference with the 2016 election continues to expand.
As Mueller pursues his probe, he's making more use of career prosecutors from the offices of U.S. attorneys and from Justice Department headquarters, as well as FBI agents -- a sign that he may be laying the groundwork to hand off parts of his investigation eventually, several current and former U.S. officials said.

Mulehead’s investigation is compromised and he needs to be investigated
I protest this waste of my taxpayer money. The whole thing has been a needless waste, but to hire yet MORE lawyers to go baying at the moon, nothing to discover, is outrageous.
This is totally out of control, congress needs to define him.
> “Winding down? According to the article, Mueller is ramping it up.”
This news content has been out for a couple of weeks now.
Mueller is not ramping up. He’s in a quandary.
He obtained indictments for about a dozen Russian cyber trolls and 3 Russian cyber companies of meddling in the 2016 election.
Mueller thought these indictments would boost his PR prospects, to give cred to his and his staff’s efforts, and thought the Russians would never respond.
The Russians responded much to Mueller’s surprise. Russians hired a law firm and filed a response demanding what evidence Mueller had.
Mueller sh*t his pants. He filed a motion to postpone and the judge told him effing no.
Then Mueller (meaning his office idiots) tried the ‘national security’ excuse. But that is crap as any accused has a right to know who and what is being used against them.
So Mueller seemingly had two choices:
1) Show the evidence which is thought to be quite flimsy, the release of which would give more ammo to Congress to put pressure on Mueller to shut down his witch hunt.
2) Drop the case against the Russian trolls which would be a huge embarrassment to Mueller and would cause Congress to bring him in for questioning, again.
But Mueller found a 3rd way to avoid being cornered.
Mueller decided to tap US Attorneys to take the Russian troll case so that Mueller’s office could shift blame to another part of DOJ. The US Attorneys he requested are not part of his SC office.
> “ ... a sign that he may be laying the groundwork to hand off parts of his investigation eventually, several current and former U.S. officials said.”
It’s purely a political cover move. The excuse is a BS excuse. Mueller’s idiots are saying the Russian troll case is likely to go on for years (uh-huh, BS) and extend past the time his office is shut down.
So Mueller stepped in it and is trying to wipe the crap he stepped in on some other DOJ prosecutors while he runs away.
Everything with lawyers is about billable hours. Everything.
Everything with lawyers is about billable hours. Everything.””
Yes, and dividing opponents to keep fueling the fire for more billable hours. Highly emotional issues, like divorces, where both sides’ lawyers throw gas on the firestorm of emotions, translating into huge legal bills, draining the settlement funds from the husband and wife into the legal shithole. It is sickening.
If we had a real AG who would pick an honest special counsel, who would investigate the Deep State, then a special counsel would be a good thing.
"And yet" you're "here everyday" supporting our current "AG".
What a COS! This farce needs to END now.
How does this probe help to feed a hungry child?
He does not want to release his findings until after the November election. Just stalling, i think.
The longer the witch or warlock hunt goes, the greater will be the retribution against the deep state. But alas, they think they hold the winning hand.
p
He can tap my sewer line.
Who is giving him carte blanche. RR unsupervised by Rip Van I presume. Q needs to get the message to Trump that patience with injustice is running out.
