James Woods has been dropped by his talent agent, and received the announcement in an email sent during the Fourth of July holiday.
The Oscar-nominated actor shared a screenshot of the email with the subject line “Well…” on his personal Twitter account.
The talent agent, Ken Kaplan, said that he’d come to the decision to no longer represent the outspoken conservative star because he was “feeling patriotic.”
“It’s the 4th of July and I’m feeling patriotic,” Kaplan wrote. “I don’t want to represent you anymore. I mean I can go on a rant but you know what I’d say.”

Seems to me, James plays poker now for a living (or at least as a hobby) rather than acting in films.
No one has a blacker heart than a Hollywood agent.
If it wasn’t for hypocrisy the left wouldn’t have any positions at all.
Maybe we should boycott all of Kaplan’s other clients, since they are obviously like Kaplan.
Kaplan shows himself to be a close-minded bigot like so many of today’s “progressives “.

the talent agent likely was not doing a very good job for James in the first place. No ethics, no common curtesy, no loss to James.
Maybe other celebrities of decent integrity and common sense will break from this loser agent?
He should seek a role in Dr. King’s movie Roe vs. Wade. Just saw her on Fox and Friends — she’s hiring conservative actors such as Jon Voight and many others.
Yeah, he was getting Woods so many roles. /sarcasm
If the guy doesn’t know enough to say patriotic when he really means pathetic then Woods is better off without him.

What a crummy thing for that agent to do. BTW, Omar Sharif (now deceased) played bridge for a living, as a sideline to his film performances, and did quite well in co-writing a bridge column for national distribution in the papers. Maybe James can get a writing gig out of his poker playing.

I thought she was kinda funny (WAY BACK) before she went all mental on GWB.
Same with Paula Poundstone. Saw a show of hers on Comedy Central way back in the 90s. Wish I could find it. Observational humor, no politics, no negativity. She was very good.
Then she went full angry Leftist lesbian mode and the "funny" part went up in a puff of smoke.

With the exception of Simmons, those ain't what I'd call A-listers. To toss away Woods is nuts.

Woods tweeted a number of months ago that he was fully retiring from Hollywood. So, I’m not sure what this agent dropping him is supposed to mean, he wasn’t going to be making any more money off of Woods anyway.
