Embattled EPA chief Scott Pruitt has denied a report that he asked President Donald Trump to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions and put Pruitt in charge of the Justice Department.
“This report is simply false. General Sessions and I are friends and I have always said I want nothing more than to see him succeed in his role,” Pruitt told Politico in a statement about the report on CNN.

When The Donald yells “You’re fired!” then and only then will Pruitt be “embattled”.
The (expletives deleted) press seems to think that if they are running an attack campaign on someone that it means that person is “embattled”.

When first glancing over the headlines, I swear that I read this as "Putin says he never asked Trump for Sessions' job" ...

EPA chief Scott Pruitt is being viciously attacked by the left because he is doing a great job of realigning the EPA to do the work it is supposed to do, rather than destructive environmental activism!
I applaud the responsible work Pruitt is doing to ensure that we have clean air and clean water and a clean environment.
Maybe the EPA will start looking at environmental damage by Cadmium being washed off solar photovoltaic panels, significant environmental damage from mining lithium, especially if to goes large scale, environmental damage from wind driven turbines (eagles, other birds, bats), aesthetic pollution by the ugly windmills, and to draw attention to the lack of economic viability for solar technologies.
“Embattled” for one, and only one, reason...
Pruitt is the only consequential Conservative in the Trump administration.

California’s blends help more gas to be burned during the combustion process in cool then warm weather.
It was instituted decades ago and was a major factor in helping to clean up the air in the Los Angeles basin.
Those of us who lived in the area in the 1970s, can attest to that.
I don’t like how the conversion process is gamed each year to bump up prices for a few months, but that’s where my displeasure is focused.

What I want to see from the Attorney General.
Along with “regular business”, I would like to see a grand jury indictment of a high ranking current or former government official EVERY DAY for the rest of President Trump’s first term in office. To continue EVERY DAY of his second term if he is reelected.
