Obama had total control of our government for two years and we got Obamacare. One can only imagine what they would have done to this country had they remained in control for Obama's first four years and even the four years after.
This country would be unrecognizable today
You've reminded me that US voters most often reject 1 party control. It's happened recently only twice.....with 43, and Obama, if memory serves. In both instances, voters did not want the same party controlling the House, Senate, and the White House.
This will change this fall of '18. Voters will like what they see and command us to carry on.
