Walmart has found itself on the receiving end of a torrent of outrage after it was discovered Monday that the superstore was selling anti-Trump “Impeach 45” apparel on its website.
The outcry sparked a #BoycottWalmart trend on Twitter as users expressed their distaste for the chain promoting the impeachment of President Trump, echoing some Congressional Democrats.
Ryan Fournier, chairman of the group Students for Trump, was one of the first to discover Walmart was selling the clothing item, according to the International Business Times. He asked the company in a tweet, “What kind of message are you trying to send?”
One user accused Walmart of joining the “far left.”
“I didn’t want to believe it. So I searched myself,” another user wrote. “This is despicable. All American Walmart? Im (sic) out!!!”
Old Glory is the company that sells the “Impeach 45” apparel and it’s not the only one. A quick search on Walmart.com revealed three other companies selling Trump impeachment merchandise.
"These items were sold by third party sellers on our open marketplace, and were not offered directly by Walmart. We’re removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies," a Walmart spokesperson said.
A search for “Make America Great Again” apparel yielded plenty of hats, T-shirts and coffee mugs as well.
It’s not the first time Walmart has caused a stir.

Just spent a minute on twitter.com #BoycottWalmart. Didn’t see anything from Trump supporters. Seems like most of us like free speech and capitalism. But liberals are all excited about what they imagine we are thinking.

BTW they still have plenty of MAGA hats on their site so I’m OK with the other side trying to get their message out:-)
They should be able to sell the shirts..other wise they will pull Trump stuff next..becareful what you do..

The only way Walmart can fix this is by making MAGA shirts, Build the Wall and Lock Her Up shirts.
If Walmart refuses, then they have chosen sides.
Dumb business idea to politicize your business. You will loose at least 50% of your customers if not more. Whomever, thought this was a good idea should be immediately fired.

Walmart is a business, and it is the job of management to make a profit. Given that people can be partisan, so long as any company’s management decides to sell to both sides, I’m fine with that...I just won’t buy any of the “Impeach 45” crap, that’s all. It is like having biased CNN or MSNBC on TV that you don’t like - just don’t watch it.
Ok. They want to sell a product idiots want to buy. I don’t see a problem.
We’ve quietly boycotted Wal Mart for years. Ever since I saw an article on FR with Chinese troops executing Tibetan teenagers for protesting Chinese occupation. Another FReeper mentioned how Wal Mart represents 25% of China’s economy and that did for me and my family.
Haven’t been there since.
Most Trump supporters are smart enough to understand that there are a multitude of products that pop up on Walmart's website through various third party vendors and it's not like these were on the shelves in the neighborhood store.
In other words, most Trump supporters understand how on-line shopping works.
I’m sure that they also sell “Crooked Hillary - Lock her up!” apparel, right? / sarc
I can not support a Walmart boycott since I never shop there.
