Whatever they are hassling Cohen about, it has nothing to do with Russia. Mueller referred it to SDNY. It seems to me if it was directly related to Trump, the SC would have held on to it for impeachment recommendations.

One thing that didn’t make the news yesterday (much) is that the DoJ reconstructed Cohen’s files from his shredder. They found nothing.

When I saw the interview with Cohen, I instantly thought the Redcoats must have found dirt on him when they stole all his files and devices. I suspect Mueller now has blackmail leverage on Cohen.
Whether Cohen has genuine harmful stuff on POTUS remains to be seen. I can’t believe Cohen would willingly betray his longtime friend and client but his “family and country” comment sounded like somebody being forced to read a confession at gunpoint. I’m not buying it.
The fatal flaw in this theory is that it is based on the assumption that there is something with which to turn on Trump regarding Russian collusion.
No one find it odd that Cohen was a go to guy on Fox until he said he was placing loyalty to his family and Country first? Now he’s radioactive.

OK, hyperbole aside, there is something REALLY, really wrong with Scarborough.....perhaps it’s the dead intern, but I suspect that there is a REALLY big skeleton in his closet that he has a tenuous grip on.
I didn’t hear him say he was turning against Trump. He said his loyalty was to family and country. That doesn’t mean he has anything to turn on Trump. This is just media assuming one can’t be loyal to country and support Trump at the same time.

Actually, in terms of any information that Cohen has that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, his loyalty absolutely has to be to his client. Solicitor-client privilege is a bedrock of the Common Law legal system. If Donald Trump told a lawyer that “I received $1 billion from Putin that is sitting in a Swiss bank”, the lawyer would never be able to reveal that information. My concern is not anything that the President has done, but on whether a weasel like Cohen will fabricate something to save himself from his own personal wrongdoing.
