While millennials still prefer the Democratic party over the Republicans, that support is tanking. In just two years, it dropped sharply from 55% to 46%. Meanwhile, their support for Republicans has remained roughly stable in the past two years, falling from 28% to 27%.

I’m actually surprised Ms. Ocasio-Cortez goes out of her way to call herself a socialist. And not just settle for “Democrat.” But whatever.

The democrats will NEVER reset their course. They are reflexively and constitutionally incapable of it. For starters, they would have to jettison “the Land of Misfit Toys”-—LGBT, open-borders advocates, environmentalist whaccos, and single-payer advocates.
They would then have to craft a wholly new message, actually raison d’etre—the supremacy of the individual, the gradual elimination the welfare state, no public benefits for illegal immigrants, and the privitization of health and education.
Since the GOP doesn’t support any of the aforementioned, this would all but ensure the democrat supremacy indefinitely./s

With Trump threatening to peel off a slice of the black and Hispanic vote, dems can’t afford to lose a slice of the millennial vote as well.
