When someone betrays their loyalty and trust, you can never trust them again.

Donald is not "without sin" either. The question is loyalty to something higher yet, namely God.

Is this even a constitutionally compliant move? Wouldn’t it need a constitutional amendment to do?

That was my thought too. Congress passes a lot of laws that I don't think are constitutional though. Ultimately, the Supreme Court winds up deciding if they pass muster or not. If Mike Lee gets on the court, I guess we know how he'd vote on issues of Congress usurping presidential powers laid out by the Constitution.

This is not just about being a never trumper.

Lee in Oct. of 2016, after “we the people” elected him to be our nominee for the gop, Lee made a video asking Trump to step aside. I guess Trump wasn’t who Lee wanted. It looks to me like he has no problem ignoring the vote.

That’s right. He played/messed with Romney. Lol Remember the dinner? Romney was excited, then Trump basically ignored and forgot about him.

I’d agree, though I don’t mind Lee’s look at pro-life, I wouldn’t want to play this fast and loose with the Constitution either. Still, the output of having been a legislator who actually drafted an act gives some idea of how a person thinks a government ought to behave. If not Lee, then someone else.

“Than why is he on Trump’s list?”

Art of the Deal.

Trump was placating conservatives at the time and added Lee as an afterthought. Lee was NEVER going to be a pick, NEVER!!!!

“Donald” isn’t going to name “donald” to the Supreme Court either.

Fascinating question, though. Could Donald do it, essentially quitting the presidency?

That’s the truth. And to think at one time Lee was more supportive than all the RINO’s.
