ABC Frets: ‘Country Is Going to Change Profoundly’ over Trump SCOTUS Pick

This morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, journalists for the network continued losing their collective minds over Supreme Court Justice Kennedy’s announcement that he was retiring from the bench. ABC led its morning coverage Thursday with three reports, portraying the news that President Trump would pick his successor, as a move back into the Dark Ages with abortion rights at stake. “It guarantees that this court and this country is going to change profoundly,” correspondent Terry Moran gushed.

Anchor Robin Roberts opened by noting dramatically that “every American” could be affected by this new SCOTUS pick. Correspondent Terry Moran touted the announcement as something to be dreaded: “Here at the Supreme Court, this noble building so often seen as a rock of stability in a tumultuous world is really shaken to its core today,” he stated.

Giving a rundown of different monumental cases that Kennedy had been the deciding vote on, giving particular attention to gay marriage and abortion, Moran touted the possibility that such crucial issues for the left could now be at risk, with Trump at the helm: “Now the President will choose Kennedy's successor, the stakes could not be higher,” Moran touted. “[T]his country is going to change profoundly,” he added.

That's odd. He says it like it's a bad thing. Funny how all the uber smart people talk like ALL the American people want further "progressive" advances based on SCOTUS rulings. Guess there's a couple of people they failed to ask. Uber libtard heads continue to pop on day 2 of Kennedy's announcement. Meanwhile the campaign to "save" the supreme court continues. Yeah, I have a merde eating grin on my face. ;-)

Given how often Republicans pick turn liberal, it is not a given we will get a better pick.

But they liked hope and change when Obama wanted to fundamentally transform the country.

The hypocrisy drips off of them.

Well, Obama said he was going to fundamentally transform America and the MSM was criminally silent with that. They are domestic enemies of the Constitution.

“That’s odd. He says it like it’s a bad thing.”

For the Progressive Left it is truly a bad thing. They are seeing it for what it is for them, the end of the Progressives Game Plan to take over the country and make it Socialist/Communist. Since the end of WWII. and maybe even earlier, The Left has had it in mind to change this country. My parents arrived in San Francisco in 1936 to find that the UC Berkeley “Professors” were claiming that they were going to make Berkeley the first Communist City in the country, and today, they are still trying. To a greater or lesser extent, these people have been on a mission to “convert” the country, and now they see that their entire plan is in the $hitter.

All I have to remember is that even liberal (these days, leftist) California voted three different times against sodomite mirage, and the left had to go to the SC to get it ratified, to know how well the previous court represented America and our Constitution.

Aren’t these bum “journalists” supposed to “report” the news. No one cares what their lunatic opinions are. Fools.

Yes, and it will unfortunately take a few rulings before we know the truth of the matter. I can’t recall a leftist pick who went truly Constitutionalist, can you?

We'll be going back to the intentions of our founders...Not that they were perfect but they did hold morality as background for the Constitution.

And note the order of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness in the prelude to writing the Constitution.

And remember, the Constitution WAS NOT in effect until the Bill Of Rights was added.

Read 55 Men and the Story of the Constitution by Rodell. It shows their forethought.

“Now the President will choose Kennedy’s successor, the stakes could not be higher,” Moran touted.

Something the Trump voters understood from the very
beginning.

Rulings on the constitutionality instead of political correctness. What a novel idea huh? No more “What will the EU think of this ruling?” crap. Refreshing.
