Kicked back and relaxed is the way to be! LOL!

Didn’t do much today. The weather’s had the ol’ arthritis cranked up pretty bad so I laid low. Hoping it doesn’t hurt as bad tomorrow as we’ll be busy getting things ready at the museum for the History Channel’s visit next week. Unless something comes up to postpone it (it’s happened once already), they’ll film for an episode of “Military Collectors” Wed. afternoon.

Last weekend featured working with a delegation from California and a semi-annual membership meeting with all its attendant fallout. I've had meetings every day this week, and it's not going to let up for a while.

Next weekend I may be out of town for Friday night, but that's still up in the air.

They're looking at sending me all over the west in a campaign to save Amtrak's Southwest Chief, which is on the chopping block. If that happens, I'll be away for a while.

I have been mostly home, supervising a new roof (pitched) to replace my flat roof, however, I have gotten some nice walks and rides in. Going to a wedding tomorrow...my brother!

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they were going to be here to film. They were going to do it a few weeks ago but something came up and they postponed. I’m not sure who contacted them or if they’d heard about the museum from one of the other collectors they’ve visited. Those people all know each other.

I’m excited. It’ll be fun to watch how they work to put one of these shows together.
