China might prefer Russia to gain a foothold in NK rather than the US.

Interesting times.

Just stop. Russia and North Korea share a border. If Korea is to be reunified, they will need all the allies they can get against the hegemon that shares the longest part of their border to the northwest. A unified Korea allied with Russia, Japan and the US might actually have a chance to break out of China’s orbit.

Didn’t the Soviet Union and North Korea initiate a peace process in the early 1950’s bring together both Koreas in a unified peninsula?

Yes, this all would have happened without Trump’s sanctions on China and Russia and NK. It would have just spontaneously happened. /s

After NK withdrew from the non nuke agreement, 6 countries came together to address NK's move.

It looks like the six countries will be making individual deals with NK in exchange for denuking AND missile regs...and it makes sense.

We'll see.

Why? Kim’s agreeing to what was agreed to at the summit so a SK alliance with Russia to stop Kim is senseless.

This is NOT a “Who needs Trump” moment. This is the Koreans looking out for Korea.

What a petty childish tone for this article. Na-na-na-na-nah - they had a meeting without you! Like it was written by a six-year-old.

South Korean government doesn’t want to jump on the anti-Russia bandwagon.

POTUS Trump announced at his Rally yesterday that North Korea is returning the Remains of 200 American Soldiers KIA during the Korean War.

Has anyone seen a Headline about that?

Ah, so the LSM sees the whole immigration thing blowing up in their collective leftscum faces, so this is their new tactic: Denigrate President Trump’s success with North Korea.

Wow, that didn’t take as long as I’d thought.

South Korea needs natural gas. Russia wants to sell natural gas to them. Since President Trump has apparently brought North Korea into the world community others want to cash in on it. It’s economics 101. Not some backstabbing like this author tries to make this sound like.
