Working on letter to Burr now. Should I mention that Burr rhymes with cur?
Burr was just reelected. He has always been a Bush country club establishment Republican. I have heard he plans to retire at the end of his current term in 2022. I’ve also heard he has stated in private that since he isn’t running again he is free to vote how he wishes. Interesting he teamed up with Collins on this vote. He had been extremely deferential to Democrat Mark Warner in meetings of the Senate committee he chairs. Sometimes it seems Warner is the real chairman.
