Matteo Salvini: Italy’s ports are closed to migrant vessels

Italy’s Matteo Salvini warned Saturday that no NGO-operated ships carrying migrants would be allowed to dock at Italian ports.

“Italy no longer wants to be an accomplice of human traffickers and contribute to the business of illegal immigration,” Matteo Salvini, who leads the far-right League, said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

More than 600 migrants are expected to reach Italian shores on Saturday on board Italian, British and U.S. military ships, according to a statement by the Italian interior ministry cited by La Repubblica.

Salvini’s post specifically targeted NGO-operated two ships flying Dutch flags — which he described as “waiting for their load of human beings abandoned by smugglers” in Libyan waters — and insisted they would not be granted access to Italian ports.

“As a father and as a minister, they can attack and threaten me all they want, but I won’t give up and I’m doing it for everybody’s sake,” Salvini said.

A private German NGO working onboard one of the vessels hit back against Salvini, saying in a tweet “the fascists” were providing them with “advertising.” Salvini promptly replied the assertion was “crazy” and that the “good days” for migrants and charities are over.

The NGO later deleted its original tweet and said,”No, Matteo Salvini is of course not a fascist.”

5Star Infrastructure Minister Danilo Toninelli also weighed in Saturday, tweeting that the Netherlands should “recall the two rescue vessels [because] they are not properly equipped to save lives.”

Italians have had enough...

"A poll published Saturday by Italian daily Corriere della Sera showed 59 percent of Italians are in favor of the new government’s migration policy. Center-right and 5Star voters overwhelmingly support Salvini’s “hardline” policy as do one in three Democratic Party voters, according to the poll."

The NGOs dump these “refugees” on the Italians and then walk away leaving the Italians to clean up the mess. And the NGOs go scoop up more of them. Hell yes, Italy. Close your ports.

Seize the boats as contraband, arrest the crew, and hold a public wrecking of the boats. The Soros smugglers and invaders will get the Point

I hope everyone is waking up to Soros’ evil. It’s going to take a lot to escape his clutches.

Sink the boats with naval gunfire. Drive the point home.

Tell the military vessels to go somewhere else too. It’s just a scam.

Smart move. These are some of the people behind the efforts in Europe. Notice that a couple of Italians were present.

Sadly, the Spanish government has learned nothing from the disaster the rest of Europe has become and allowed the ship of refugees to enter Valencia. The same government, which is Socialist and less than 2 weeks old, has restored health care to illegal immigrants and vowed to remove the razor wire that was keeping more migrants from entering Ceuta and Melilla. They haven’t yet explained how bringing unskilled migrants into a country that already has one of the most poorly educated workforces in Western Europe and 16% unemployment is going to benefit the native born population. Socialists never see their system as an abject failure. It’s always poor execution, which the current government will get right this time.

Are you in Spain?

If so, what do the Spaniards think about their brand new socialist PM welcoming the invaders there?

Odd that Spain hasn’t incurred the level of invasion from Africa that Italy has, even though they’re merely a spitting distance away from Africa.
