The OIG is infected by a far more dangerous disease than political bias — fear.
The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow such a disaster.
In other words, the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General is filled with people who fear the FBI. Think about that for a minute. What is the usual term for a government whose members live in fear of its police arm? Ronald Reagan famously said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” The OIG report suggests that its demise may be only one election away. The following passage from the report’s Executive Summary is a cowardly exercise in bureaucratic dissembling deliberately worded to let corrupt FBI officials off the hook and provide talking points for its equally dishonest apologists:
[We] did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that improper considerations, including political bias, directly affected the specific investigative decisions we reviewed … we found that these specific decisions were the result of discretionary judgments made during the course of an investigation by the Midyear agents and prosecutors and that these judgment calls were not unreasonable.

I think the response was tepid because some of the evidence is going to a grqnd jury which has been hinted at. That is what Huber was brought in for.

So, Comey spends 15 minutes detailing step by step why Hillary is guilty.....then exonerates her;
The IG spends 562 pages detailing step by step, incident by incident, why the FBI and DOJ were biased..... then says there was no bias.
Both are swamp creatures; they think they are above the law and people will buy into their weak arguments. We are not stupid.
Horowitz has lost a lot of people’s respect with this whitewash.
You have made a statement based on what is likely a fallacious assumption
The fact you do not know what you do not know does not mean there are not very substantial but unrevealed activity. That is, like the atom bomb or the Normandy invasion in WW II there are presently secrets that can not and are not revealed.
It must be noted that both the bomb and the invasion took lots of folks considerable time to accomplish.
The president and his people are not going to go off half cocked
Within the stench of corruption in the FBI, Congress, etc., how can we expect a fair IG report when it is the DOJ investigating the DOJ?
We used to know exactly what to do to those who were like this who ruled over us.

Translation: We did not find obvious paper trails or straight-up admissions.

It’s bad enough that they we’re attempting to screw with the election, but believing that Hillary was a force for good?
Now that’s what’s really scary.
They need to shout this from the rooftops.
People have to wake up to how dangerous it is to have an out of control FBI , no matter what side of the aisle they are on.
Horowitz is implicitly saying “of course there’s overwhelming bias, but don’t blame me for being the one to expose it.”
The OIG staff decided that they didn't want the KGB FBI kicking their doors in at 3:00 AM, manhandling their wives and daughters, shooting their dogs, locking them up and bankrupting them defending bogus charges in court.
The report simply makes each person fully understand the Bias without anyone colluding to make it seem possible.
Since the report was released, notice the ‘Dont look at the report, look at the crying children’ news.
