President Trump reacted to the news of Manafort’s arrest on Friday.

Trump tweeted: Wow, what a tough sentence for Paul Manafort, who has represented Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and many other top political people and campaigns. Didn’t know Manafort was the head of the Mob. What about Comey and Crooked Hillary and all of the others? Very unfair!

Mueller Is out of control and needs to be shut down. I guess democrats feel alright about Manafort being taken away and separated from his wife and children?

He is listening to his legal advisors who have led him down this path. They’ve treated mueller’s special counsel as some sort of legitimate legal inquiry instead of the overt coup that it is.
