Trump unloads from White House lawn (short video)

President Trump tweeted on Friday that “Fox & Friends” was broadcasting from the front lawn of the White House, teasing a possible visit.

Minutes later, Trump was standing side-by-side with Fox host Steve Doocy unloading on former FBI Director James Comey, Democrats and the Russia probe in an unusual setting: the North Lawn of the White House.

After ending the Fox interview, Trump conceded to a shorter, more hostile series of questions from other reporters — one of whom he described as obnoxious.

In the course of the two interviews, Trump offered a series of claims, several of them misleading and designed to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

He said the Justice Department’s inspector general (IG) report had cleared his name, even though that was not one of its conclusions or purposes.

“I think that the report yesterday, maybe more importantly than anything, it totally exonerates me,” Trump told the group of reporters in the second interview.

The IG report focused on the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and did not touch upon the origins of Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s election interference.

Trump offered a a selective reading of the IG report, which criticized the FBI and Comey’s conduct during the Clinton probe but found no evidence their decisions were tainted by political bias in the final weeks of the 2016 presidential race.

Yeah, praising Wray was so Strong. Yeah, Wray will restore the FBI with “Pride”, the same Scumball Wray that hid the Strzok “we stop Trump from becoming President” Memo.

Under the zero-tolerance policy, people apprehended illegally crossing the border face criminal prosecution, which results in children being taken away from their parents to be placed in shelters.

Oh, boo hoo...Perhaps it's the price one pays when they break the laws of the land. Ryan needs to grow a pair and quit playing politics with this and carry out his duties to uphold the laws of the land.

““I think that the report yesterday, maybe more importantly than anything, it totally exonerates me,” Trump told the group of reporters in the second interview.”

OK but it is a defensive statement. How about some offense and some action regarding those who actually broke laws? Or at least fire some people.

What happens to American criminals who are guilty of breaking the law? They sure as hell are separated from their children and incarcerated.

“Troll alert.....troll, troll, troll!”

So, I guess you are fine with his doing Nothing, not even firing Strzok? Maybe his praise of Wray this morning was more to your liking?

The measure to separate children from adults when they’re caught illegally entering the country PROTECTS CHILDREN FROM SEX TRAFFICKERS!!!!

Don’t repeal it!!!!!! It’s one of the few good ideas that came out of the Obama regime!!!

Then maybe they shouldn't have come here in the first place. It may protect a few from sex traffickers, but it also places a burden on the resource base in this country that helps all children, not just a few illegals. DACA is a horrible idea that offers a choice that can result in children being separated from their parents. Absent parents is not a new concept. Just look at how many poor in this country come from single parent families. Illegals just reduces what can be done for those who are here legally.

“Hey, he is the head of a country, and I mean he is the strong head,” Trump said. “Don’t let anyone think anything different. He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.”

Pressed by a reporter about that comment, Trump responded: “I’m kidding, you don’t understand sarcasm.”

They also don’t understand how President Trump trolls them and manipulates them with statements like this.

They get bent out of shape, rush to press with their latest attack on Trump, and it backfires because it confirms what we all know, that the media is highly partisan and biased.

So these negative attacks stir up the base.

For the past year, I’ve observed that the headlines on Google News ALWAYS contain vicious attacks on Trump in some way.

When Obama was president, these same headline ALWAYS put a positive spin on Obama, with puff pieces about his food preferences and favorite color.

But a large part of the country sees through the manipulation and deception. Their efforts to undermine the president are not working.

I am most definitely NOT on the side of illegal immigration. But I also don’t want to see this policy changed back to when child traffickers were allowed to retain custody of the children they abused.

So, you’re going to pass a law that helps a few dozen illegal immigrants at the expense of thousands of DACA’s who suck resources away from US citizens. Sounds like a crappy policy to me.

So you’d rather go back to making sure that pedophiles and slavers have a ready supply of children to rape and abuse?

Myself, I want the children safely returned to their home country. Period.

Golly he’s pretty much grumbling and carrying on on every thread.....his whining is worse than the snowflakes! I don’t have issues with people stating their complaint, but preaturely whining like a kid crying cause he doesn’t have his candy now gets more than annoying.

You're throwing out the baby with the bath water. Show me reliable statistics on the number of children sold into slavery by pedophiles and slavers as a percentage of that country's population. My guess is that it's well under 1%. So you're going to keep 99% of the illegals here because, maybe, 1% of them might face the risk of enslavement. Meanwhile, those 99% suck up resources that should go to US citizens.

If you want those children returned to their home country, I suggest you open your wallet and start buying buss tickets.

I am getting very weary of people reading things into my words that I did not say.

I have a policy of not defending things that people made up and accused me of saying.

That said, kindly do not bother me again with a false claim that I want ANY illegals to remain in the USA. I do not.

As far as returning children to their home country goes my concern in this regard is limited to children who are victims of a crime. The other children can be reunited with their parents and sent back across to Mexico where they came from.
