President Trump reportedly plans to attend the NATO summit in Brussels this July. If he does, he will do so as relations between the United States and its Western allies sit at a new low.
President Trump is on record as having called NATO "obsolete." Last week, he left a G-7 summit in Canada early, signed but then refused to honor the joint communique with U.S. allies there, and then insulted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
U.S. Ambassador to NATO, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, has to keep working in this poisonous political climate, and she tells CBS News correspondent Elizabeth Palmer that she's been getting "an earful" from America's allies.

CBS. LOL
Any of them paid their fair share that is obligated under the treaty yet?
Like spoiled kids off to college. “I hate you. Send more money.”
” Last week, he left a G-7 summit in Canada early, signed but then refused to honor the joint communique with U.S. allies there”
That’s a bald-faced lie! After signing, Treudoodoo changed the text of the “communique.” The President simply refused to “honor” the “altered document!”
Correct reply: “We’re America, bitch!”
Kay Barely Hutchison deserves all the abuse they can give her.
Just a loathsome creature.
NO! A new low was when we had the Muslim Brotherhood collaborator in the Oval Office.
Imagine if you will having a global enemy (Islamic extremists), and one of their own privy to ever military secret (for Western Civilization) on the planet.
This terrorist group received funding and arms from the Obama administration.
It was responsible for the overthrow of three governments.
One of them had been a close ally of the United States for decades. The other two had been neutral to the United States for an extended period of time.
New Low? As if...
NATO members have needed to pull their heads out for quite some time.
This is a wake-up call.
There’s about a zero probability that Russia intends to invade Central Europe. NATO is a dinosaur that needs to go away. It’s now become a tool of aggression in the hands of the EU. Also often forgotten one of the main purposes of us being in Europe was to prevent German resurgence.
Thank you Comrade McGruff. I can always count on you.
Hey Pansies:
Pay your Fair Share . . . plus Arrearages
Repay us for WW I WW II and the Marshall Plan
End you unfair tariffs
Stop infiltration from Third World
Stop the “Climate Change” charade
Kick out your fascists/communists
Open up FREE SPEECH for ALL
Keep your FMShut about Trump
Stop showing yourselves to the sissified, traitorous, INGRATE CHILDREN we see you as
Communist BS News. If Trump closes his checkbook, they will all be on their knees trying to kiss his ring. Some will probably get trampled in the rush. These ungrateful turds have been living on bribes so long that they forgot that they might get held responsible.
Yeah right. An earful euro-whining will certainly convince Trump that he should give them more concessions.
At this point let Russia invade and deal with the Muslim Horde. Europe is fast going down the drain anyway. They haven’t fielded a competent army since W.W.II, we have been the army and we have been there too long.
Yeah, well, when they actually PAY for their own defense then we might give a f___ what they think.
Better yet, let’s just leave on our own.
NATO was founded to protect EUROPE from an onslaught from the east. The IRON CURTAIN was the true border betweeen the USSR and Western Europe and divided Germany.
That USSR went out of business, (thanks Ronnie) and now the European countries see and feel NO threat and do not see themselves as ALLIES of the United States.
That notwithstanding, they are truly happy to have the USA foot their ‘defence bills” while they point angry fingers at their defenders.
Hasn’t the United States shed enough blood keeping Europe free and safe? Time for some really deep though.
As British General Hasting Ismay said, the purpose of NATO was to keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down.
They're slowly realizing that with socialism you eventually run out of someone else's military.
