President Donald Trump’s repeated attacks on the special counsel investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 election may be taking hold not only among Republicans but Democrats and independents as well, according to a poll released Wednesday.
The Politico/Morning Consult poll found Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s favorability among Democrats and independents took a slight dive over the last 11 months. Twenty-four percent of Democrats registered an unfavorable score for Mueller, while 33 percent of independents also viewed Mueller in a negative light.

Overall, a record 53 percent of the poll’s respondents shared an unfavorable reaction to Mueller, a 26-point jump since Politico/Morning Consult first started polling the special counsel’s favorable and unfavorable rating among registered voters....

Mueller is a scumbag who has been illegally leaking and misusing law enforcement powers to destroy the innocent and the hapless since forever.
The Whitey Bulger mess gets a lot of attention.
The 2001 anthrax attacks put Mueller under a lot of political pressure, and like other weak people, he cut a lot of corners in order to “look competent”.
First he persecuted Steven Hatfill and illegally leaked to the media, before admitting he was innocent.
Then Mueller and his goons hounded Bruce Ivins to suicide, declared him “the real anthrax killer” and closed the case.
Even though Ivins was likely innocent as well.
For example, here is a letter from (guess who!) Jerrold Nadler, that documents the problems with the FBI “evidence” against Ivins. This is from the days when liberals didn’t believe Mueller was so “impeccable”.

It should not be at all surprising that some of the lefturds are slinking over to the side in opposition to Mueller’s witch hunt.
When this is all send Mueller and his team a bill. Haven’t heard a darned thing about Russians in awhile. WHAT HAPPENED?

A slight dive over 11 months. People get paid to write things like that. A dive is usually precipitous. Most divers go mostly straight down. So dive isn’t the right word for the sentence.
And yet, damage is still being done, if primarily at the PR level. The plan was to be negative enough to somehow throw the House and Senate to the DEMs in 2018, then attempt to get Trump removed, or at least tie him up with impeachment.
Don’t forget, at every opportunity Sessions praises ‘da Weasel’ and his 28 years of perfect service.
Probably more because of Mueller's bungling than disagreements with his goal.
