My thanks to you both. I knew he studied in Switzerland, but was unsure if he learned any English while there. And if so, what his fluency level is. Sort of like my “fluency” in German from studying it in college and then not using it until getting assigned to Germany 6 years later. I had forgotten a lot.

Acosta’s outbursts must be ended now or PDJT and Sarah Sanders will be as much at fault as the CNN jerk.

RE: Trump's awkward comment

On Laura Ingraham’s show, Raymond Arroyo played this clip that will not have made major news. The diplomats were finishing a photo session immediately before the fancy dinner was to start. The President asked (paraphrasing) are we all through with the pictures? We look nice and thin, right? Kim's face fell, almost a sneer, and the camera went right to him. Clearly, Kim needed no translator. However, it was proof he understood well what was said, and that could be valuable intel.
