n the past 60 days, police arrested two black men in Philadelphia for sitting in a Starbucks after a white manager called the police on them, a white woman in Oakland called police on a black family for having a barbeque, a white student at Yale called police on a black student for napping in the common space of their dorm, a group of white men called police on a group of black women in Pennsylvania for golfing too slowly at the club where they are all members and a white woman in Rialto, Calif., called police on a group of black women checking out of their Airbnb because they didnt wave at her.
Racial bias is all around us, but perhaps nowhere is it more damaging than when it happens to children in school.

Shouldn't pick on white kids as they are a minority in California schools.
Yet another article on black victimization. Pure claptrap.
Essentially the article claims that black people should be given special preferences.
“a white woman in Rialto, Calif., called police on a group of black women checking out of their Airbnb because they didnt wave at her.”
Yeah, I’m sure that’s why./s
Sorry, but if you presume that these biases exist... doesn’t this just change the biases????
As if they arent already?? For the last 60 years? How long should this go on? Slavery was abolished nearly 150 years ago. And that is much longer than slavery was Law IN this country.
In the past 60 days dozens of blacks have been killed in Chicago by blacks. Innocent White women have been raped. Innocent old White men have been beaten in what is called the knockout ‘game’.
So STFU.
California should subsidize two parent, stable families and see how this impacts these issues.
How about teaches who reflect the culture that the kids SHOULD embrace, when the one in which they are mired is so destructive?
