Stopped reading Drudge years ago. His propensity for benign and positive homo links were offensive.
I prefer "www.thelibertydaily.com", which is a conservative version of the Drudge format.
To: Tazzo
He began his move to the establishment in 2012, I could see it as he pushed Romney and undercut other candidates. Rumor has it he brought on one or two assistants (establishment creatures?) to help manage his site and new selections. I could feel a shift, and it became clearer as time went on. 2016 you see it too, once Trump won the nomination, the story line began to tilt against non-establishment candidates including Trump.

FReepers who disagree with Drudge have been saying this since 1999. Somehow Drudge has survived and thrived.

Matt Drudge is the only member of the media I trust. Although he sometimes posts articles that are unfavorable to my favorite candidate or a conservative politician, he is reliably pro-life and is otherwise more objective than any other news source I know of.
I am always disappointed in my fellow Freepers whenever these rant threads get started. If you don't like his website, don't read it. None of this caustic whining and needless name calling makes his website any more conservative and this kind of destructive bashing would certainly drive most people further away. He is the most conservative member of the mass media and quite possibly the most influential. We are lucky that he is as conservative as he is.
Also, this thread has no business ever being in the News section.

It is my perception that Drudge is exhibiting an
increasingly pro-left bias. Am I alone in my view?

Mental disorders when left untreated are known to worsen over time. And Drudge Report slides gradually away from conservatism over time. Coincidence? Pray for Drudge. I hate for anyone to allow their eternity to erode away.

DEAD to me for 2 years.
To: Tazzo
Absolutely. Drudge seems to hate Trump. He has ever since Trump dispatched Cruz, before which he was absurdly pro-Trump.
