She’s not the problem, the problem are the uneducated and ignorant fools that voted for her.
Is she half white? That always seems to be the case with over the top nuts like her, they got to prove their blackness so they go this radical. I’m betting that is the case, like Colin Kaepernjerk, the huge afro is a give away. Anything they see as black they exaggerate.
That's not a defense. Junk is junk; that government schools have been promoting junk for decades simply condemns them as long-term purveyors of junk.
Yes, that would be a biography, NOT an AUTO biography
How about we put lots of books on the Reading Lists, and let the students read what they wish?
At the end Malcom X realized his racist error that’s why his lieutenants murdered him.
How about we let the inmates run the asylum?
"Students" are supposed to be learning; by definition they don't know what they're supposed to learn. The faculty's job is to guide them, not let them run amok.
If they want to fill their minds with rubbish on their own time, that's between them and their parents.
The thing is, the students don’t have to stick around, once they graduate, they’re gone.
True ... they have a whole lifetime to fill their minds with rubbish. Big Media is happy to help them ... and Big Education is happy to give them a head start.
“The faculty’s job is to guide them, not let them run amok.”
That’s why there is a Reading List.
A student is typically not required to read every book on the list, but rather selects certain books they they find interesting or relevant.
That’s they way it is done in public, private and parochial schools.
And the government schools have been filling the reading list with junk for decades, as you admit. That's a damning indictment of government schools.
In your world, are students limited to reading only books which are on the officially sanctioned "Reading List"?
Such an option already exists for those students. It's called a library.
In the meantime, schools aren't doing their job of providing students with even the most rudimentary education because they're too busy filling their heads with nonsense like hagiographic biographies of Malcolm X.
That's Obama in a nutshell. He apologized for Black Lives Matter types while they were burning and looting city blocks to prove his blackness.
When Obama started out in Chicago politics, he wasn't perceived as black by many in the black community - his mother was white, he was raised abroad and attended Ivy League schools instead of having an inner city background, and his connection to "blackness" was an elite Kenyan immigrant rather than an African-American descendant of slaves.
When Obama ran for some type of councilman position for the first time, he was rejected by black constituents (who voted for a former Black Panther) while white liberals fell in love with him.
“In your world, are students limited to reading only books which are on the officially sanctioned “Reading List”?”
Typically, for credit in a class, students can select from the reading list. Once they have read the book, they write a Review.
Lots of options should be on that reading list and I’m not going to throw a conniption fit if students read books that I may not like.
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the published title. Thank you.
Gee, I wonder what the demographics of Athens-Clarke County are? /sarc
I’m going to give everyone a wake up call. I am a County Supervisor (Commissioner) in Arizona. I go to meetings of NACO, (National Association of Counties) where locally elected officials meet to trade information and theoretically lobby the Federal government which makes little sense to me since we have so many counties with different needs. ANYWAY, they have a group called “THE FUTURE OF NACO” I’ll tell you what the future of local governments back East is: Black men with bowties. I’m not saying anything more.
I suspect 90% of her votes came from white liberals.
You did not answer my question.
i would prefer that my kids consult with me about what they plan to read.
I don’t give a damn what other people’s kids read.
