GOP staves off immigration revolt — for now
The Hill ^ | 06/07/18 | Mike Lillis and Juliegrace Brufke

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Thursday tamped down a Republican insurrection on immigration — at least temporarily — with vows to “put pen to paper” on a compromise bill to protect the young undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers.

During a two-hour, closed-door meeting in the basement of the Capitol, Ryan and other GOP leaders urged their troops not to endorse a procedural move to force votes on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — known as a discharge petition — and instead give leaders more time to forge a compromise that can win 218 Republicans.

“The next step is to start putting pen to paper and get legislation to the floor," the Wisconsin Republican told reporters afterwards.

The promise seems to have bought them some time in their search for an elusive DACA deal that can win the support of centrist immigration reformers and conservative hardliners.

The new unofficial deadline appears to be June 12, leaving leadership just five days to craft legislation they believe can garner 218 GOP votes. Supporters of the petition are two Republican signatures away from the number of members needed to bypass leadership and bring the “Queen of the Hill” rule to the floor.

Etc...

The good old pooper-scooper party does it again. Obama, the enemy of the people, decreed that these law-breakers can stay in the country, even though he had NO right to do so.

Instead of telling ICE to get busy and round up these illegals, the GOP ties itself in knots trying to accommodate the law-breakers. And they let the Democrat media pin the blame for the mess on the Republican Party! Unbelievable, but totally predictable.

If they come up with some screwy “get out of jail free” plan before the November elections, the GOP will lose at least 50 seats and will be in the minority once again, a status many of them prefer because they are cowards.

Help for the “dreamers” cannot advance without first passing legislation which eliminates family-reunification. The parents of these “children” cannot be rewarded with citizenship for their deliberate law-breaking.

Why are so many “Republicans” so eager to inact amnesty? What’s in it for them? And how do we purge them?

“young undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers”

Really getting tired of this “Dreamers” cr*pola.

How about the Corrupt Spawn of Criminal Alien Invaders?
Future Criminals of America?
2nd Gen Welfare Sponges?
Federal, State & Local Tax Thieves?

American Citizen Youths are the real Dreamers.

My plan for an Immigration Amnesty and Reform Act of 2018 is at:
http://www.freerepublic.com/~briangriffin

It has:
1. a pay & stay amnesty for Dreamers/anchored parents/select taxpayers, conditioned on submission to the states of a proposed Constitutional amendment providing for taxpayer protections and maternal jus sanguinis citizenship at birth[if mom was Mexican before conception, her child is Mexican]
2. an $400 early bird/$4,000 last day amnesty personally available at embassies & consulates outside the USA for entry/visa/work-related violations
3. a visa auction system which will allow companies/people to import relatives/agricultural, abattoir & tech workers quickly, with an eight cents/minute of work tax on tech workers paid less than either $1,200/week and $30/hour, by pay period
4. a multiple incentive employment verification ‘wall’

The taxpayer protections would be:

SECTION 10. Federal employer/income taxation may be levied at no more than 120% of existing rates. Federal employer/income taxation limits/rates/rate thresholds may be changed by no more than 1/20th in any year.
SECTION 11. A federal statutory financial imposition may only be levied/increased under then existing law or with the same day approval of at least two-thirds of the members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
SECTION 12. All amounts collected from Federal estate taxation shall be used to pay down the existing national debt and that distinctly refinanced, or refunded.
SECTION 13. There shall be no multi-state/federal wealth or property taxation except that estate taxation and real property taxation in what is now the District of Columbia.
SECTION 14. The federal government shall not issue loans or except, via limited liability corporations set up under federal law without recourse to the Treasury, guarantee debt other than of the general national debt.
SECTION 15. No person (or their spouse or child) may be elected or otherwise placed into a Constitutional office for a subsequent term while the national debt of the United States exceeds $25 trillion.
SECTION 16. The President shall have line item veto power.
SECTION 18. Effective with the elections of November 2022, the House of Representatives shall be composed of members chosen every fourth year by qualified voters of the several states.

I know almost all of you will hate my plan, but be aware that the craven and cowardly “cheap labor” Republicans are going to sell you out. Trump has gone along with every Congressional bill so far and has even upped Schumer’s minimum amnesty goal from 800,000 to 1.8 million.

The pay & stay amnesty of my plan is critically conditioned on submission to the states of my proposed Constitutional amendment to protect taxpayers, so you will likely get something in exchange and not merely the bills to pay.

The pay part is $500 initial/$400 state ratified/$300 wall completed per quarter for 40 quarters plus standard USCIS fee amounts.

The Dreamers and other pay & stay folks will generally be able to get citizenship after 40 quarters (age 28+), when they are likely to be making good money and obligated to pay taxes on it. Taxpayers tend to vote Republican.

The employment verification reforms of my plan are designed to be highly effective.

“Why are so many “Republicans” so eager to enact amnesty?”

cheap labor for their contributors

“What’s in it for them?”

a white population that is generally less able to compete against the families of the white elite such as their own

Actually, it’s not...at least directly...what it is really for is millions of dollars to open border Republicans from the Cheap Labor Express companies in the U.S.

Which gives establishment Republicans the ability to run as a slightly weaker opposition party. They know that people like you and I will never vote Dem, so it’s either vote for GOPe or sit out the election. Either way the GOPe doesn’t care.
