Where does this weasel Burr come from? North Carolina Republicans should be ashamed of this creature; he has done NOTHING to expose the Deep State, defers constantly to the ranking minority member, the sloven Mark Warner, and never speaks up to defend the Trump White House. I would never know the jerk is a Republican, much less Senate Intel Committee Chairman?

Just like I predicted: the Republicans will stretch out the self-pardoning stupidity for as long as possible. First it was Giuliani, then Fox and Friends, then Newt, then Ryan. Now, who is next?

When Trump returns from the summit, it will start up again. Comments will be made on the previous comments, then articles will be based on the comments, and then probably legal treatises, then books. This will be milked for as long as possible.

Thanks.

Nixon should have also known about the magic words, sure to placate any Democrat: what difference does that make now?

Any Republican who votes for impeachment in the House or for conviction in the Senate will be primaried out of their seats; they can have all the support from the Koch brothers that they can accept, but we outnumber the Koches and the Bushes.

Republicans never stick together. They’re too used to caving. Democrats stick together like glue.

This is being coordinated with the Uniparty GOP-e wing and it is about immigration/border issues. Time to declassify everything on PaulRyno and DickBurr. As in EVERYTHING...and do it tonight. Freeze them Alinsky-style.

Has to happen.

They are deep state suck ups. They should never be reelected and those harmed should take it out on them personally.

I suspect they were approached by the FBI and told what their course of action was to be. They probably were reminded how much a shame it’d be were something to happen to their families.

My thought is that Trump should pardon Comey and perhaps McCabe. The absolute pardon power vested in the President does not have a requirement that the recipient accepts the pardon. In fact, a recipient cannot reject a pardon. All that has to happen is that the President grants the pardon.

Once given, the recipient cannot claim a 5th amendment privilege against self-incrimination on any federal crimes covered by the pardon, becasue their liberty is no longer at risk.

Grand juries and Congressional committees could call them to testify in public until the cows come home and they couldn’ refuse to answer unless they were culpable of state crimes.

Everyone who is now batting around the pardon issue in the press is treating it as if it infers guilt (if applied to Cohen, Flynn, etc.) But then it would offer the same imputation fo guilt for Comey or McCabe. And since they would never be prosecuted, there would never be the chance of a DC Jury acquitting them.

If they’d been investigating a drug dealer it might have been appropriate. But they were investigating the opposition party’s presidential campaign.

The swamp has spies and surveillance on every legislator, their families, associates, and harvests every bit of data originating from them for future algorithm filtering.

When Chuck Schumer said "these intelligence people have six ways to Sunday too get back at you". He was correct. Rip them out by the roots and start over. They are worse than the KGB.

They aren’t thinking that far in advance. Trump is a threat to the swamp, and they’ll risk anything.

Paul Ryan: I agree with Clapper.
Richard Burr: Definitely. Trump should be happy he was spied on.
Mitt: Right on, my brothers. Let's team up again 2024.
Pat McCrory: I heard Jeb wants another shot, too. (Rino laughter.)

Why not just MS-13 them? Then it would be PC and their crap would be gone.

Re: “The swamp has spies and surveillance on every legislator, their families, associates...”

Since you know that, I have to assume every person in Washington D.C. knows that, too.

Why would anyone run for office? More than half of Congressmen were millionaires BEFORE they ran for office. How could anyone be that stupid?

Unfortunately, those of us who believe in the Constitution and Rule of Law are now the true RINOs. The Republican Party is now part of the Uniparty aka the Deep State.
