I went to the link but I don’t see this headline on the Hill: “In California, GOP recalls Democrat state senator, replaces with Republican woman.
Democrats lose supermajority in state senate.” I’m sure it’s just an oversight and will be corrected in the next edition.

Meanwhile, the lame stream media never mentions that of all the federal House races (special elections) since the president took office, Republicans won all but one. The exception was the race in western Pennsylvania.
