Force him to talk about ObamaGate too, transactional immunity only.

If they try this in Congress, then you will be disappointed when criminal prosecutions start and no one is convicted due to the Congressional hearings. See Oliver North and others. Or that is my vague recollection of what happened with the folks involved in Iran/Contra. It made for good tv though. I was a teenager, and I was glued to the tv during those Congressional hearings.

He has to put forward a proffer describing what he is prepared to testify to, not just before congress, but in court. And it has to be worth it.

This is what apparently didn’t happen when they gave immunity to Hillary’s inner circle. They immunized them and got squat. It was a scam.

Right. Congress gave North and Fawn Hall immunity in exchange for testimony, but the others were indicted and convicted. Even North was eventually indicted, but his indictments were thrown out due to his Congressional immunity. The others had their convictions thrown out or were pardoned by George H. W. Bush.

That's why any deal in exchange for testimony for McCabe must come from a prosecutor, not Congress. If Congress does it, it will be a willful back-door pardon to protect Deep-State agents who tried to take out Trump.

Not really. When one of the bastards goes down I might - just might - believe others will follow. Yet I’ve seen no evidence that Congress or Justice will do anything either than talk.

Haven’t some thugs of Clinton or Obama been given immunity and still clammed up?

No immunity. Recent history is replete with examples of Democrat criminals being handed immunity like candy and getting absolutely nothing — nothing — in return.

No more “Get out of jail” free cards for Democrats, let alone for the Deep State.

NO IMMUNITY!

Agreed 100%. Anyone who is given immunity can take blame for all the really bad stuff, so everyone will get off the hook. Besides that, McCabe is probably one of the worst of the worst of the traitors.

If he is granted immunity, a visit to Ft. Marcy Park would be on his itinerary

I oppose even considering an immunity deal BEFORE the ALL the IG reports are in hand and studied thoroughly.

Bromwich responds to Sen Grassley’s letter, by saying they can’t “proffer” scope or specifics McCabe would testify to, because that would depend on the committee’s questions. IOW, McCabe has no intention of telling the whole truth, just giving up whatever is dragged out of him. McCabe’s main utility is in revealing whole areas of corruption that are not already on the radar screen (McCabe blaming Comey is worthless). Maybe that is just an opening position for negotiations, but if that is all he has, put McCabe on TV and make him plead the Fifth.

First question: “Did anyone in the DoJ and/or FBI conspire to falsely exonerate Hillary Clinton of criminal culpability for use of her unsecured “personal email server” and mishandling classified information?”
Answer: “I assert my right under the Fifth Amendment to refuse to answer, on the grounds that it may incriminate me.”

Works for me.

“it would already be game over”

No. This thing has to move slowly to avoid damaging shock waves.

I always felt that a person’s use of 5th Amendment protection was a pretty clear indication of some guilt in the matter.

I suspect you are correct.

He might have waited too long and there are others who have flipped with enough information that his is no longer needed.

Especially if they have already ratted on him.

I suspect he is already a cooked goose.

Only if he provides rock solid evidence that will lead to prosecutions and convictions of higher ups and those many other law breakers. If not, fry him.

Put Trey Gowdy in charge. That’ll do it.

Right...because Trey Gowdy has delivered so much - not.

I don’t remember all the names but key henchmen (and henchwomen) were given immunity by the government as they were about to testify about the missing emails, home computers at Hillary’s house, Weiner’s access and all that.
Then they mostly took the Fifth anyway and did nothing against Hillary or Obama.

He’s like the local punks who are seen being charged with 10 crimes on the nightly news, then the followup is despite airtight evidence and witnesses the punk gets a plea bargain, then charged on one crime with others dropped, then no jail time and gets parole. Supposedly makes like easier for DA’s and saves money on longer trial for overbooked local courts. BS.
