The surprise commencement speaker at the Florida high school where a gunman killed 17 people in February was Jimmy Fallon, who said he wanted to thank the students personally for their courage and bravery.
Most commencement speakers get up and talk in future tense: `You will succeed. You will make us proud, you will change the world, the Tonight Show host said. But Im not going to say that, because youre not the future. Youre the present. You are succeeding, you are making us proud.
Fallon joked about his own less-than-stellar high school performance it took having to go to summer school to find my people, he said before telling the students that theyre already proven how setbacks can change us in ways we dont expect, and make us better, and stronger.

As families arrived, gunshots from a nearby public shooting range could be heard echoing over the parking lot.
I wonder if Jimmy Fallon will visit the pro-gun students of Santa Fe, Texas.
“.....he wanted to thank the students personally for their courage and bravery...”
And what might that courage and bravery be?
Off topic, but I wonder :
1. Why didn’t the media trot out a David Hogg type from the school.in Texas after that shooting? Why don’t we see any students from the school being feted in the media as gun control crusaders?
2. Why didn’t CNN do their town hall on gun control with the sheriff and spokeswoman from the NRA after the Texas shooting?
That’s kind of funny. I’ll bet if the school asked the range operators nicely, they would have cancelled shooting for the hours of the ceremony. That’s the neighborly thing to do, notwithstanding the shooting at the school.
Last Saturday, I was at a state trap tournament. I hadn’t been to one before. About 100 youth properly and safely handling firearms. Excellent muzzle control at all times.
Another totally unfunny, worthless libtard. It’s been a long, long road to down from the golden days of Carson and Leno.
Is this true that the students of the High School in Santa Fe, TX are pro-2nd Amendment?
Talk about uninspiring.Fallon is just the poster child for Pajama Boy.
At the same time leftard apparatchiks like this clown are ignoring A fair number of students who blame leftists for making their school a shooting gallery. “Us’ is a word leftards constantly abuse.
“Shit flows from the mouths of hollywood” should be a bumper sticker.
They're his pets!
“As families arrived, gunshots from a nearby public shooting range could be heard echoing over the parking lot.”
So...why didn’t Jimmy Fallon put some teeth in his belief and lead students who agree to that firing range and stage a die-in like Publix? Point where the noise was coming from and shout “Are we going to tolerate this!!? I’m going there to protest! Who’s with me!?”
There’d be an immediate “Cease fire! Clear all weapons!” and firing would be disrupted until police arrived.
The only thing that those Parkland students have taught us is that our public schools are pumping out a completely-useless generation of brainless, Tide Pod-chewing, condom-snorting stooges.
Why the heck was Hogg late for school that day?
Yeah, schooling the country on how the subversives use you.
If big mouth Fallon wanted somebody “schooled”, he should have read the little “young skulls full of mush” The Bill of Rights. What a jerk.
How much did Fallon get for his appearance ?

I’ve done a 180 on Falon. Years ago, he was one of the most clever comedians on the night circuit. Now he’s a complete idiot.
All the laws in the world regarding guns Jimmy, and these people still break them to kill. What person in their right mind would think more laws could fix it?
Please tell us what happens when guns are outlawed for decent people? Only the criminals will have them. And beyond that, people will pick up knives to kill.
Go sit down and rest Falon. You’re clearly flustered and out of control.
Puffing up young people to believe they are more courageous than they are. Courage is those WWII vets who lied about their age to enlist.
