By May, Mr. Marsh had slowed his efforts to fill more than 10 open positions in Plug Power’s factory as he began worrying that the tariffs on steel and some Chinese products crucial to its business would raise the costs of the components it imports to build fuel cells. So executives had raised the price on their fuel cells, and sales were slowing as a result.

So let me get this straight. The tariffs have not actually gone in place. The business owner, acting on his "worrying" about something that hasn't raised the price of the components he buys, raised his prices? His sales slowed? No sh$t, probably because others that sell the same product didn't needlessly raise their prices.

Good job NYT, creating Fake News wherever you go - as long as you can say something bad about Trump and his policies - regardless of the truth.

Or the explosion of a fork lift powered by their fuel cell dropped their stock

Your take on the story is the same as mine.

This jerk tried to make a little extra cash before tariffs came into effect. He created his own problem, typical democrat.
