About the only period of time the Religion of Peace didn't have predatory ambitions toward Europe and Europeans was before there was a Religion of Peace.

Europe suffered the irreplaceable loss of its best virile genes between 1914-1945. The effect is manifested in the sad state of today’s EU. Germany and Britain are led by bizarre women. France by a childless man who marries a barren woman old enough to be his mother. The EU is unwilling to defend its borders or its culture. They can’t even procreate. Massive migration from impoverished Muslims who are psychologically dependent on their alien religion was inevitable. The majority of the endemic Europeans meekly accept and even celebrate their arrival.
Rejection of muslim migrants is warranted because mohammedanism is incompatible with, conflicts with, and rejects Western values in the present, and wants to replace them with anti-reason and anti-reality values.

it is because of Islam that Europe went on to colonize Asia and the Americas and Australia — they were first lookign for a way to bypass the Turks and go to India.

Well, there are a few nice buildings in Palermo that were built by muzzies. But, in photos I have of 19th century Sicily, you can still see Italian women in burka-like clothing. The best thing they did, perhaps, was bring some interesting plants, herbs and spices to the west.
