Rudy seems to be an embarrassment of contradictions: maybe he should return to truly private life.

This isn’t a news story. It’s an opinion piece with a twisted headline and talking points from a far-left hack disguised as a news story.

"Just as property asset forfeitures should be dependent on actual charges being filed against someone, obstruction of justice charges should be dependent on actual charges related to the alleged obstruction should be filed."

Given that the only way as a sitting president that Trump can be removed from office is impeachment and conviction by the Congress, actual criminal charges or indictment are not needed for the process. High crimes and misdemeanors are what ever the House wants them to be. That is where the Presidet's jeopardy lies.

All he has is process crimes when there is no underlying crime.

Special prosecutors are political persecutors.

Fitzgerald persecuted Scooter Libby with no underlying crime.

Same for Mueller.

Just another loud mouthed Leftist thugette, operating at the fringes as a DNC tool.

The fact that no one ever heard of her tells you all you should care about her opinion.

I guess hiring a defense attorney is obstruction of justice now.

“Isn’t that what they did in 1973?”

Nope. A little different story then.

Two idiots broke into the democrat offices to steal information. Yes, that’s a crime and definitely worth prosecuting. Nixon tried to influence the AG’s investigation. That, too, is a crime and worthy of impeachment.

However, Nixon never considered to commit the break in, the break in did not involve government agencies, including intelligence and al enforcement as with Obama’s insurrection.

Why is the question regarding President Trump firing Attorney General Jeff Session considered obstruction of justice considering, Sessions is not even involved in any investigations about Collusion?

.
Bovine excrement flows freely!

A President cannot obstruct justice by giving an order.

Every person in the executive branch is there to carry out his agenda, and if they resist or fail, he has every right to remove them.

The Justice department is nothing but an extension of the president.

Actually, there were five burglars initially arrested, all with CIA backgrounds, and they had two accomplices in the adjacent building with CIA and FBI backgrounds, so there are significant similarities to the operation against Trump in that respect, and also with respect to the prosecution being dominated by political partisans (in Nixon’s case, Ted Kennedy associates). Whether Nixon considered committing the break-in is unknown: one witness who was in the habit of changing their story said he did, the others don’t corroborate that. As for Nixon trying to influence the AG’s investigation, that wasn’t why he resigned, and we now know the tape used to force his resignation was taken out of context. Nixon didn’t think the case against him would hold up in court and he wanted it to go to trial, but he was talked into resigning by his attorneys, who were privately trading information with the prosecutors.

A real reporter would of asked her if she remembers why Hillary was FIRED from the Watergate Prosecution, and then discounted everything else when she lied about it, which she will.

YOU CAN'T CHARGE POTUS WITH OBSTRUCTION!!!!!

Certain public officials are INDEMNIFIED from prosecution for charges pertaining to the discharge of their CONSTITUTIONALLY-delegated DUTIES. Judges, Congressmen and THE POTUS are among those so protected.

YOU CAN'T CHARGE POTUS WITH OBSTRUCTION!!!!!
