Don’t tell him!
Lets hope and pray this is the real deal. I have a friend who lost her husband to this awful cancer. I don’t wish it on anyone (not even John McCain)
If McCain used his influence to get in on this trial, I bet he also tried to use his influence and position to demand that he NOT be among those getting the placebo but instead be placed in the group getting the real treatment.
Luckily McQueeg has been room temperature for weeks. They just wanted to post-date it so Cindy could keep his Senate seat.
That seat doesn’t belong to the citizens of Arizona, after all.
It belongs to them.

My father died in 1979 from a glioblastoma. He died 1 yr to the day he was diagnosed. When Ted Kennedy was diagnosed he lasted 1 year even though his medical care was probably 1000 times better than my dads. Glioblastoma is a death sentence. Hopefully this is a breakthrough.
Just lost a good friend to this May 17th...luckily she went quickly and relatively pain free...altho pretty much unaware of anything from the time of surgery until she slipped away. I miss her.
So isn’t it the AZgovs job to ensure the state has proper representation? Why won’t he just appoint someone to replace McCain now?
For a sturdy already 11 years long, this doesn't make any sense to me. Something this important should not be delayed (unless there is more to the story than is written in this article).
As someone who has had 4 close relatives die from this disease (two uncles and two cousins), it sure seems important to me. Fortunately for me, none was a blood relative. However, with a "cluster" this large in a relatively rare disease, one can't rule out factors other than heredity that might include me. Why wait?
One of my aunts was killed by this cancer. Diagnosed in November, died that Christmas.
This and other treatments for terminal people need to be shot out the door when no other viable option is available.
Death by tumor or a possible death by a possible cure. An easy choice for most.
