After news broke that, on Thursday, a gunman trying to perpetrate a mass shooting in Oklahoma City was stopped by two armed citizens who used their own guns against him, FNC has given the story a substantial amount of attention while ABC and CBS have also run full stories on the event.
But CNN barely touched the story, burying it between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m Eastern in a couple of 25-second briefs Friday morning, while NBC and MSNBC have ignored it entirely.
Fox News Channel first began running briefs on Thursday night during Fox News at Night with Shannon Bream, and, on Friday, correspondent William La Jeunesse followed up by presenting several full reports through the day, including on Special Report with Bret Baier. In all FNC has spent almost 10 minutes on the story across three full reports and five briefs.
On CBS, both CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News on Friday each devoted a full report of more than two minutes to the event, and ABC's World News Tonight gave it one and half minutes.

Why didn’t CNN do another raucous town hall with the sheriff and an NRA spokeswoman, to push gun control? What changed in the media template?
CNN likely knew TX wasn’t going to play their game. Pence’s Indiana, wouldn’t either.
No AR-15, no story. Too busy laying in the produce aisle at publix super capitulator market. If I still lived in FL, I would quit shopping at publix.
Of course the Leftstream media won’t cover this....it doesn’t fit the narrative.
The truth of this story is harmful to their narrative.
Yes, they are ignored unless the MSM feels they can make a stink about if they were legal to carry. Then it is top story for a week.
And no AR-15 involvement. Makes you long for the good ol days with sara brady and hci. Sad to say, they are still in the game too.

I swear the more I think about that and see pictures of it, if I had been in that market, I would have run into and over those pukes with my grocery cart. I really would. Consequences be d****d... I’m a female in her 80’s and leave a sick husband at home to run to the grocery store and I’d be in no mood to put up with that sickening behavior. I would make sure my cart was full, leave it, and have my last week’s receipt for groceries with me and tell the pharmacy to transfer all our prescriptions to Kroger immediately - BEFORE - they hauled me away. WHY Publix didn’t call the cops for trespassers on private property, I have no idea.
I’m not in FL but close enough for it to come here...Just in no mood to put up with shenanigans from these pukes.
When the mob finally comes for them, NOBODY will defend THEM.
