Pollster to Dem Candidates: Focus on Mueller Indictments

With the special counsel investigation into Russian election interference now in its second year, Democratic pollsters are offering the party a way to hone a persuasive counterargument to President Trump's revved up rhetoric against Robert Mueller: talk less about the 2016 election and more about indictments handed down thus far.

A new survey by Navigator Research, a group of top Democratic strategists and public opinion experts, finds that while 97 percent of Americans have heard about the Mueller probe, nearly 60 percent don't believe it has uncovered any crimes.

The ongoing investigation has so far resulted in two dozen indictments, including that of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and a couple of campaign associates have pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators. But the findings of the Navigator survey indicate that while most Americans say the investigation should continue, they don't think it has produced much so far.

>>”There is a real information and education challenge for progressives to make sure more people learn that there is a ‘there’ there,” says Democratic strategist Jesse Ferguson.<<

There IS NO “there there” fergie. A handful of gotcha! process “crimes” is NOT proof of anything. They keep saying “we have 10 indictments!” But indictments are just accusations and all of them have to do with people being asked “so when did you stop beating your wife?” questions.

There is not proof of a SINGLE vote being even influenced by external forces, from Russia or Mars or anywhere. There is no proof that ANYONE involved with the Trump Campaign did ANYTHING having to do with ANYTHING.

After well over a year they have nothing.

Nothing.

End it.

A normal losercon GOP hack would have legitimized Mulehead’s hoax conspiracy theory sideshow, Trump pushes it to its extreme so far that it demoralizes the already mentally ill D party base.

RE:”A new survey by Navigator Research, a group of top Democratic strategists and public opinion experts, finds that while 97 percent of Americans have heard about the Mueller probe, nearly 60 percent don't believe it has uncovered any crimes. “

Dems and their media allies are characterizing these indictments as convictions, just watch MSNBC, CNN and FNC and the three networks.

No one not even Mueller expects any convictions, in fact do we even know if the individuals or companies exist or existed during the campaign??

We dont know if Mueller has any evidence that a crime was committed to get these indictments, its being challenged in at least one case Concord..

Mueller needs to up his body count—pick random names from the DC metro phone books and indict a few hundred of them.

Since most land-line owners are octogenarians no harm done!

or—end it now.

No proof?

What do you call the 3000 CDs of untranslated Russian Mueller dumped on the Court yesterday in an attempt to deny the indicted Russians a speedy trial? LOL

If Mueller would indict 100 “ham sandwiches” and the indictments were to be thrown out immediately by judges, MSM and the Dems would be screaming from now til the Election, “100 TRUMP ADVISERS INDICTED! THE MOST CRIMINAL ADMINISTRATION IN HISTORY!

This is a great trap to set. Once Mueller is roundly discredited and cases tossed, then goes through her s own colonoscopy on UraniumOne, any political dependency on Mueller’s work product against Trump will simply be mental masturbation.

The pollsters will get rich and the democrats will go deeper in debt.

This will backfire on the democrats as Mueller’s house of cards falls.

LOL — I have a land line and have not hot the octo, sexta or septo levels yet (actually it is just a backup device).

http://www.newsweek.com/mueller-charges-list-russia-818775

I hope the Globalist Left does focus on this fictional issue. I’m underwhelmed by the list of indictments:

Former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates . . . guilty on one count of conspiracy against the United States and one count of making false statements to federal agents.

George Papadopoulos . . . former campaign foreign policy adviser admitted to lying to the FBI about when he first started making foreign contacts. He originally told FBI officials that he started communicating with Russians before he joined the Trump campaign, but Papadopoulos had actually started his contacts after he signed up.

Michael Flynn . . . former national security adviser and Trump aide Flynn plead guilty in December to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with the then-Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak.

Richard Pinedo . . . plead guilty to identity fraud

Alex van der Zwaan - A Dutch attorney . . . plead guilty to lying to federal agents. Van der Zwaan admitted to lying about a September 2016 conversation with Gates about work for a Ukrainian political party.

Paul Manafort . . . charged in October with laundering $75 million in offshore accounts, making false statements and failing to file as agents of a foreign entity.

Thirteen Russians and Three Russian entities . . . accused of posing as Americans on social media in order to buy ads online and to set up political rallies around the country

I see no indication of anything significant here, other than abuse of a prosecutor’s power and a deep state coup against the duly-elected President of the United States of America.

If there is any real substance at all underlying these “Russia” stories, and if Clapper, the FBI, and the CIA had wanted to protect our elections, they could simply have warned Candidate/President Trump. That was not the point though. This was a trap from the start, a final insurance policy in case they needed an excuse - a backup plan. This was about a Deep State coup against the lawfully elected President of the United States in the “unlikely” event that the unthinkable happened and their chosen insiders lost.

If this were real, the investigation would move faster to remove what they imply is a “Manchurian Candidate” who won only because he’s a Russian mole. Instead, they are moving at a snail’s pace to draw out the #FakeNews as a campaign gimmick. It’s intended to help with the November election and again in 2020 if low-information voters fall for it this year. The corrupt left disgusts me.

The problem is, they’re all about to fall apart.

The 13 Russians aren’t going to be charged. Mueller put together all this info and then refused to release it in discovery to the defendants.

Papodopolous’ charges stem from Misfud or Halper’s set-up, though the case has gone to pre-sentencing.

Manafort is about 50/50, but if he wins, Mueller loses his most prized win.

Flynn’s case will probably be dropped after the agent’s testimony on the 302.

The nice part about the Mueller cases is that Trump can devastate each one with a simple tweet, easy for Americans to understand. Then add a few words about how well the economy is doing.
