In the 1950s maybe! Since the 1970s it’s been a more liberal area than many others nearby. It’s Montgomery County after all!
I lived in Montgomery Co, in the 50’s-70’s. It was very conservative in the 50’s but by the 70’s things were changing. Went back about a year ago, the beautiful farms are gone,as well as the wonderful people. I miss the old days.
