HIV, the fastest mutating organism, now poses the threat of a second drug-resistant epidemic.
On 1 December 2011, President Obama declared that we now have the tools for an 'AIDS-free generation'.
Made just over 30 years after HIV was discovered, this declaration was a stunning turnaround in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The world had come together to fight a scourge that had killed over 30 million people and transformed it into a manageable, chronic illness. Persons infected with HIV were now referred to as “people living with HIV (PLHIV),” highlighting that HIV is not only a survivable disease but also one where normal life is possible.
While this rosy picture of HIV elimination may be achievable in theory, the reality is far more depressing. As the world gathers in Amsterdam this 23-27 July for the AIDS 2018 conference, a long shadow hangs over the celebration. In the bleak light of a rapid increase in HIV drug resistance, in the poorest parts of the world, it appears that a second drug-resistant HIV epidemic is on the horizon.

I remember my late father-in-law tell me that “soon” (this was over 20 years ago) that everyone would be at risk for AIDS. I guess that’s how AIDS research got all the money, telling us that everyone was at risk instead of the truth. The first disease with civil rights.

Concur. Given I have relations only with my wife and don’t inject drugs, I can’t say I’m terribly worried about what perverts do to themselves.
And if there is another epidemic, you can guarantee that, instead of suggesting that there be an end to promiscuous unprotected homosexual sex and IV drug use, we will get hundreds of billions spent to find a new cure, and more money spent giving free needles to addicts.
I feel the same way, but...that won’t stop government from driving us further in debt to find a cure for this “puzzling disease that seems to not be eradicable”.

That was the lie in the 1980s, for sure.
I don’t think there has been ONE case of female-to-male HIV transmission from vaginal sex absent some preexisting STD.
They’ll never admit that publicly.
That's quite a misleading statement. The "normal" life of people infected with HIV is hounded with increased medication resistance, debilitating side effects, more rapid aging, and more compromised bodies. If you dig in just a little bit on the details, you'll find that living with HIV controlled with medication is still far from a picnic. And near perfect adherence is essential.

True and that is why I say that all his evil is by design and intent, not stupidity, because if he were just stupid he would get something right accidentally sometime. Blind squirrel, stopped clock etc.
Here’s the plan: marry a good, God-fearing woman and remain faithful to her. Avoid sex with other men, animals, or plants - or other women (particularly women like Stormy Daniels).
Enjoy a nice disease-free life.
