Mystery in Mueller probe: Where’s the hacking indictment?
The Hill ^ | 22 May 2018 | Morgan Chalfant

In the year since the start of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, one thing has been notably absent: a public indictment of any Russians for the hacking of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Mueller has charged President Trump’s former campaign chief, secured guilty pleas from several individuals in Trump’s orbit and indicted 13 Russians for an elaborate plot to leverage social media to influence the American electorate.

But the special counsel has yet to announce charges for the hacking of the DNC, even though the intelligence community and private cybersecurity experts linked the attack to the Russian government more than a year ago. Legal experts say there are several possible explanations.

“[The reasons] can range from, there’s no evidence of any known individuals, to publicly announcing the indictment would compromise other aspects of the investigation” said Mark Zaid, a Washington-based attorney specializing in national security.

Amended, ThreatConnect, a company that is respected in the cyber community, claims that they were able to track the IP to Guccifer 2.0. However, and independent group did a cyber analysis and concluded that the transfer times were so fast that it had to be a locally connected storage device; ergo an insider job.

IF the story about an outside hacker is true, indicting this guy and any accomplices should be easy. If they are not doing it, it raises questions about the validity of their claims.

That was how the Podesta e-mails got out, but the DNC e-mails that Wikileaks got were from Seth Rich.
He was killed for it.

It’s ludicrous to think there’s a case to be brought against anyone when there’s never been a forensic examination of the server...if it still exists.

As Rush said yesterday, it was downloaded off the DNC server too fast for the Internet, but just right for a thumb drive.

Rush didn’t mention Seth Rich, though, who is the clear suspect. IIRC, Rush mentioned the Awans, but I don’t know if they had physical proximity to the DNC server. They did steal a lot off the Democrat House Caucus server, and their patron Debbie Wasserman-Schultz headed the DNC, so there’s a nexus.

Related, where is the indictment of Carter Page? The FBI got four FISA warrants on him as a paid Russian spy.

Pure propaganda. You can’t do an article on why Mueller hasn’t indicted anyone for the hack and not mention that the President has tweeted about it within the last week.

Mystery in Mueller probe: Where’s the hacking indictment?

Why would Mueller want this investigation to end when he is making $1200.00 an hour. He is literally on the Public Trough Gravy Train, which we call the D.C. Swamp here in Freeper land. Also, do not forget the 15 Rat lawyers making big bucks also.

I think President Trump mentioned this before but who makes these kinda deals in the D.C. swamp! Well, it is not called a D.C. Swamp for nothing.

How do you like them apples!!!

Exactly. If someone claims to be a victim of a crime but then refuses to allow law enforcement to examine the evidence, there's no need to pursue it any further.

Once again, this is just another case of Democrats making sh!t up.

The investigation of the “hacking of DNC computers can never see the light of day. The reason is that it would then reveal that Seth Rich was killed for releasing the information and that would necessitate that someone be held accountable for his death.
