Ask any kid going to public school what they have been taught about the Second.

I’m thinking a 1250 question exam along with a 150 page dissertation on the meaning and history behind the American Revolution and the US Constitution should be required to be a federal elected official.

The Second Amendment is absolute.

#1 and #2 make it all about the Money, THE $200 Tax Stamp.
#3 and #4 make it all about The Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

United States vs. Miller... (from Wikipedia)

On March 30, 1939, the Supreme Court heard the case. Attorneys for the United States argued four points:

1. The NFA is intended as a revenue-collecting measure and therefore within the authority of the Department of the Treasury.
2. The defendants transported the shotgun from Oklahoma to Arkansas, and therefore used it in interstate commerce.
3. The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia.
4. The “double barrel 12-gauge Stevens shotgun having a barrel less than 18 inches in length, bearing identification number 76230” was never used in any militia organization.

Bear in mind that this statist swore an oath to uphold the Constitution.

Shows you how much their words are worth.

The real Second Amendment is an absolute: “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

All existing gun laws, except those that protect gun owners from frivolous and predatory lawsuits and those that protect gun manufacturers from the same legal abuses, infringe on our individual right to keep and bear arms. All existing restrictions on our God-given individual right to self defense are unconstitutional.

***Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) declared on Saturday that he backs the “real” Second Amendment, rather than an “imaginary” version of the provision that he says is touted by gun rights advocates.***

You mean like THIS?

https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/2015R1/Downloads/CommitteeMeetingDocument/68101

Wilson v. State, 33 Ark.
557
, at
560
, 34 Am. Rep. 52, at 54 (1878)
.
“If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or
guns, the evil must be prevented by the
(p.17)
penitentiary and gallows, and not by a
general deprivation of constitutional privilege.”

And...

Nunn v. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.)
243
, at
251
(1846)
.
“’The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the whole
people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear
arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be
infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the
important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so
vitally necessary to the security of a free State.”

And in the Dred Scott decision(1857)...A listing of the rights of US Citizens one of which was...”The right to keep and carry arms wherever they went.”

I can live with these!

3. The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia.

Those attorneys' reading comprehension skills are questionable.

The first part of the amendment recognizes the need for and desirability of a citizen militia. The second part recognizes the right of all to keep and bear arms, without hinderance (infringement). No part of the amendment limits the right to militia members.

"It allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only - to kill as many people as fast as possible."

So why Mr. Congressman do nearly 100 non military federal agencies possess them? Why do nearly every state and local police departments have these rifles? When do we call upon the police or a federal agency to "kill as many people as fast as possible"?

Why do the police need rifles that are designed only for killing as many people as possible?

When does congress plan to ban these federal agencies and the police from having these mass killing machines?

I believe in REAL Senators, not the IMAGINARY ones who claim to be for something and then vote against it every single time!

I believe in the REAL Senators who understand basic English like “shall not be infringed.”

“I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment,” Murphy tweeted.

I support Murphy attempting to impregnate himself, in a real and not imaginary way.

Gun confiscation. Let’s enact it by stages.

Start in the southside of Chicago. Let us know when it is working to perfection.

Sen. Chrissy: The real second amendment is to ensure we can kill as many people, as fast as possible, who are foreign or domestic enemies of the USA, including traitorous government people.

Enemies that is. Something about that in the oath I swore to uphold back in 1967. Still held to that oath 50+years later.
