And there are still some that want Dems to run the economy. When they do, it looks like the DNC’s checkbook.

This is nice but let’s not get too excited. As always is the case with mid-term elections, most of the races since Trump has been elected have gone to the party out of power — the Dems. Even ones in previously “Republican” areas. The Dems will pick up seats. May win the House. Less of a chance of winning the Senate. A lot of money will help but won’t be a decisive factor in stemming Republican losses. That’s just the way it goes.

The GOP ought to at least consider sending fruit baskets to these kids as a token of appreciation for their efforts.

Ok, DNC lowest fundraising since 2006. But just to temper things a bit, the Dems took Congress in 2006.

Dems are contributing to individual candidates. Remember - in Georgia, Ossoff outraised Karen Handel $23.3m to $4m. https://ballotpedia.org/Georgia’s_6th_Congressional_District_special_election,_2017#tab=Spending

And in the PA election that the GOP lost, the Dem was young, handsome and charismatic. But he still needed a cash edge to win. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/03/01/pennsylvania-special-election-fundraising-lamb-saccone-433530

Weirdly enough, Ballotpedia has sought to obscure Lamb’s money edge, even though the raw numbers were accessible during and just after the campaign. https://ballotpedia.org/Pennsylvania’s_18th_Congressional_District_special_election,_2018

Are more people/groups sending money directly to individual candidates than before? ...and bypassing the DNC? Curious.

Don't worry Democrats. The DNC always seems to somehow make
ends meet. And the Dems can always go to the Clinton
Foundation for cash. I'm sure they'd be glad to loan the party some money.
I wonder how much cash Obama took with him when he left office?

They send tons of letters.

I got my Gold Card last week. Strangely, my wife got one too and she never spends money on politics.

I don’t contribute and toss the letters, but alas they persist. My limited donations go to specific candidates of my choice.

I wish I could be more upbeat about the GOP having more funds available. I saw what efforts were put out against Moore and others. At least not one red cent of my money went to that effort.

Almost every day I get five to ten requests for more money for the RNC/GOP. And every day I ignore every one of them.
