Ever eager to fan the flames of racism, local Miami media is hyping this story from 1000 miles away.

No curiosity about whether this was done for other races, who the teacher was, of the assignment had been done in years past. We heard from ONE angry parent and a SJW “journalist”.

And a TERRIFIED (likely liberal) school spokesman.

Stereotypes are based on observable traits among a large segment of whatever group the stereotype is.

If you are a member of a group that tends to graduate from HS, tends to get a job, and which tends to get married before having a child, then you are a member of a group that will succeed in America.

If you are a member of a group that looks down on those achievements, then your life in America is going to suck.

Odd. In the English classes I remember, we were forever talking about symbolism, plots, and the author's use of metaphors.

Lack of creativity if that was all they could come up with in the way of slurs.

“Stereotypes are based on observable traits among a large segment of whatever group the stereotype is”

Exactly. If they think the stereotypes are incorrect and hurtful, then let them come forward with hard data: statistics of actual behavior of the group under consideration.

Was destroying restaurants, corner drug stores and convenience stores on the list? Or 70 % of their children absent fathers?

Why didn’t the teacher include all races?

“reflect on the harm that can be caused by stereotypes....”

Perhaps they should teflect on the cause of those stereotypes. They don’t just come out of the blue.

Lions have a stereotype of being dangerous - I wonder why.
