It's been an ongoing war. Might as well declare it and get it out in the open. Obama and those he surrounded himself with have deluded themselves into thinking that they are the keepers of truth and righteousness - thus whatever they do that is dishonest or illegal is justified. It's a delusion many highly destructive people, and dictators, have harbored.

I believe the circumstances call for a special prosecutor.

He will tell his Attorney General tomorrow to find out the answer to his questions.

You know... it might work out. If he demands an investigation, he can also demand answers by a certain date... say... a week.

If he doesn’t GET those answers, with proof one way or the other, he can use that as cause to fire their sorry, corrupt asses.

The Congress will have to respond to public pressure. Corrupt or not, a third of the Senate and all of the House is up for reelection NOW, and they will be able to read the handwriting.

I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!

First, we know that Sessions is recused from any matter in any way related to any presidential campaign. So Sessions will be unable to respond to President Trump's demand.

Rod Rosenstein has the position of Acting Attorney General for all matters as to which the Attorney General has recused himself.

Rosenstein's response will be that the DOJ has already commenced an investigation into exactly what the President has requested -- in the form of an OIG investigation into FISA abuse and related matters that commenced at the end of March/beginning of April of this year.

The problem, of course, is that what we need is a criminal investigation into these matters, which the OIG does not have the power to undertake. And it will be many months before we see a report on FISA abuse from the OIG. Indeed, they are probably just now getting going on it because the worker bees there have been occupied with wrapping up the review of the Clinton email investigation.

A criminal investigation should have been started well over a year ago.

But it seems unlikely Rosenstein will appoint a special counsel to investigate the DOJ/FBI for crimes. Even if he did, he might well appoint as special counsel someone like Sally Yates, which would be worse than no investigation at all, because such an investigation like the Hillary email investigation would be to protect and immunize the responsible parties instead of hold them accountable for their conduct.

Because such a criminal investigation would be investigating to determine whether crimes were committed in the FISA and counterintelligence investigation against the Trump campaign, and in fact that investigation was taken over by Mueller and continues to this day, Mueller would likely attempt to attack the new criminal investigation as an attempt to obstruct justice in his own ongoing investigation. Indeed, Mueller may claim the power to subpoena the president and question him under oath about this very tweet on the pretext of whether the president was attempting to obstruct justice.

Hopefully he will put someone like Rudy in charge of a special investigation tomorrow. Giving him some special powers to prosecute.

Tell me, what is there to prevent the President of the United States from appointing a special counsel on his own?

Haha! CNN is freaking out, “Muh separation between DOJ and Presidency.” Shut up, CNN. You didn’t care when Holder called himself Obama’s wingman or Lynch was on the tarmac.

It makes perfect sense when you realize he already knows exactly what happened.

Do you think Donald Trump would ever do this if there was a chance in hell everyone was going to be exonerated? LOL.

Asking the DOJ/FBI to investigate the DOJ/FBI, particularly with the track record of the past year, doesn’t seem realistic unless this is a political statement. He might try declaring this some form of national security risk and have military investigators to step in.

“Trump’s getting ready to drop the hammer.”

One might say, the swing is at the apex and about to come down.

It’s happening.
