Steele had been fired from British Intelligence 2 years before the dossier was even put forth...

And if Trump fires anyone else impeachment is right around the corner. Trump is playing it much smarter. He is out tweeting them all. Nunes will get to the bottom of it

I’m waiting to see what Huber does

At the link you provided, Nunes said the same people helping the IG investigate are the same people that are of concern. Did you catch that?

He got paid for many years before that, too. Dude was on the CIA payroll for many years. Always a 6 figure sum between July and September.

Around a cool mil over 5 years.

>Magoo signed off on Stefan Halper checks.

Being what is in essence a foreign asset Halper would have been paid off by the CIA.

The known Halper payments came via Department of Defense.

I’ve heard the payments go back to 2012 and in total it’s over a million dollars.">

Your post summarizes this perfectly. I'm surprised that angle hasn't gotten more attention in the coverage of this story.

What's interesting to me is that this actually diminishes the likelihood that Mueller is carrying out a nefarious campaign against Trump. The evidence I see here gives only two options: he's either a damn fool, or he's a Trump ally using the legal system to get top-secret information out into the open.

Think about it ...

When you see what has come out in the last few days about this FBI-CIA "spy," it's hard not to conclude that the prosecutions of Paul Manafort and Concord Management were huge blunders -- IF the intent all along has been to undermine Trump. By prosecuting these cases, Mueller has given the attorneys representing the defendants tremendous leverage to get their hands on information in the discovery process that otherwise would have remained hidden.

A U.S. criminal court gives a lot of power to defendants. That's why Sen. Grassley has formally requested a redacted copy of Rosenstein's memo outlining Mueller's responsibilities ... even though the judge overseeing Manafort's criminal case had already been given an unredacted version of this memo under seal a few days earlier.

Back many years ago in my LE days all I paid an informant (well, once in a while) was a shot of bourbon - paid the bartender. He was my informant also but but only got a pat on the back.

I’m waiting for the frog march. There is need for a massive frog march

Don't hold your breath.

These politicians are THICK as THIEVES and there has already been more than enough for indictments on some of the other players and nothing has happened.

They're protecting one another waiting for us to forget because if no one is prosecuted then "it probably didn't happen."
