From the original article which sundance is referring to by Paul Sperry

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2018/05/14/2_colleagues_contradict_brennan_on_use_of_dossier.html

Former CIA Director John Brennan’s insistence that the salacious and unverified Steele dossier was not part of the official Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian interference in the 2016 election is being contradicted by two top former officials. Recently retired National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers stated in a classified letter to Congress that the Clinton campaign-funded memos did factor into the ICA. And James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence under President Obama, conceded in a recent CNN interview that the assessment was based on “some of the substantive content of the dossier.” Without elaborating, he maintained that “we were able to corroborate” certain allegations.

Brennan, Comey, Strozk,Clapper, are simply part of a criminal syndicate involved in a criminal extortion, racketeering endeavor to usurp a duly elected president. They and many others need to be indicted before a grand jury and prosecuted under the federal RICO statute.

Yes, we do need a special prosecutor to do that job, including the possible indictment of both Clinton and Obama.

I’ll take Sperry over Clapper and Brennan any day. I can trust Sperry to protect the US. The other two are at miminis, suspect, incompetent, politically biased, to of questionable loyalty (at least for Brennan.

He’s waiting for the Inspector General’s Report. In the meantime Trump-land is becoming more and more energized for the midterms.

I guess we have to settle for an IG. I hope that the IG determines that Mueller is actually not investigating Russia but doing a fishing expedition into matters that do not concern him.

With that finding, Sessions would not be recused from supervising Mueller. And then we might have an actual AG.

Mueller has a court date this Friday to produce his mandate from Rosenstein purporting to authorize, post hoc, Mueller’s exceeding his putative “Russia, Russia, Russia” mandate. The judge in that (Manafort) case could easily hold that Rosenstein didn’t have the authority to do that, and that the Sessions’ “Russia, Russia, Russia” recusal is irrelevant in that case.

I’m pretty sure that the CIA is forbidden by law from operating domestically.

If we had an Attorney General he might want to look into that.

Sadly, we don’t have one.

I think the Senate committee, and specifically Rand Paul, is going to question her about how deep in the CIA was the investigation of the Trump campaign.

Was it dealt with by normal channels or just ‘eyes only’ by the designates of Brennan and Clapper?

If it was closely held by Brennan, then this is his baby all the way. I believe the man tried to engineer a coup using the intel community’s reputation.
