Bill OReilly is in talks to head back to cable news in his old 8 p.m. slot, but this time at Newsmax TV, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
Newsmax is also chasing other former Fox News talent Greta Van Susteren and Eric Bolling have been approached to join as hosts of hourlong shows in prime time. Bolling already has a deal with CRTV for a digital show.
Adding to the Newsmax mix could be former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, who were told is set to star on a politically focused late-night panel show.
An insider told Page Six, The deals are not done yet, but talks are in the advanced stages, certainly with OReilly. The thinking is, following a 6 p.m. news show, Greta would anchor the 7 p.m. hour, OReilly would be back at 8 p.m., and Bolling could smoothly continue on at 9 p.m. Spicer and his cohorts would go on at 10 p.m., with the later slot allowing the show to be looser. But the deals are not yet signed and sealed.
The OReilly talks progressed as veteran news exec Michael Clemente, Fox News former executive vice president of news, joined Newsmax Broadcasting as CEO in April.

Repeat after me...
Headline goes here....
Link goes there.
Sounds good.
somehow we survived him not being on the air
lets see how long we can, shall we...
I’d rather see Greta and O’Reilly than Tucker and Laura Ingraham. I like Tucker, but his “I’m going to give a repellant leftist airtime then tear him a new one” schtick got old a long time ago. Ingraham is some anti-Trumpist flake whose ego far exceeds her intelligence.

Thanks TBP.
Hannity, in his transition to Laura Ingraham last night, was commenting that “we lost three fourths of our prime time” and Fox is still number one.
I’ll give Newsmax credit for going in big, if these deals work out.
Funny, a lot of people say Laura is in the tank for Trump.
What she is is a Reaganite.
They have some good programming now, this would put them head to head with FOX for ratings.
I totally agree with your brilliant post.
Cannot wait to watch O’Reilly and Greta again.
Their programs were far superior to Tucker and Ingraham.
Also, I hope President Trump will lend them a significant ratings boost by appearing for frequent interviews, especially as his 2020 reelection campaign draws closer.
So happy that I have Newsmax TV on Directv channel 349.
I was able to enjoy the entire Peace Officers ceremony today on Newsmax TV.
I believe it would be a coup for NewsMax if it could pull it off.
There have been things I’ve liked and disliked about NewsMax over the years.
At some point it became mostly a money-making operation more than a great news source for me. I admit that’s subjective, and others won’t see it like that. After all, all these sites need to make a profit or fold their tent.
I just didn’t care for how NewsMax went about it.
I admit to some partiality here, as I’ve written for Newsmax (although it’s been a few years.)
That’s okay. I’m not a die hard critic of NewsMax by any means. I believe it leans in our direction on most things.

I must agree
Now that I've seen Tucker and Laura I agree. I'm very disappointed in laura, thought she'd be more of a firecracker. And Tucker, first off his "theme" music is terrible and a turn off. Second, his show is poorly produced as compared to BOR.
The most important question is can BOR head fit in the newsmax studio...?
His massive ego just might not...
Wow. Don’t know what Newsmax is and where you watch it, but seems like it could be a could network.
What TV service do you have?
Newsmax is the broadcast arm of http://www.newsmax.com, the site which, among other things, did some of the best work on the Foster death.
