But Strassel points out that many questions remain. She wrote: The players in this affairthe FBI, former Director Jim Comey, the Steele dossier authorshave been suspiciously vague on the key moments leading up to that launch date. When precisely was the Steele dossier delivered to the FBI? When precisely did the Papadopoulos information come in?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Good questions...

Speculation by watchers of the Russia investigation is homing in on two shadowy figures whose names have come up during the investigation Joseph Mifsud and Stefan Halper.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Never heard about these people...

There was a spy in the Trump camp pre- and post-election and still Mueller has nothing to prosecute Trump on, even after what will soon be two years of an insider spy???

I was a bit skeptical at first that there was actually a plant in the Trump campaign. More likely just someone who “interacted” with the Trump campaign, as Strassel suggested. But it’s been more than a week since this story broke, and the FBI and DOJ have not denied it. I would think they would be quick to deny it if it were false.

Question 1: What did James Comey know, and when did he know it?
Question 2: What did Hillary Clinton know, and when did she know it?
Question 3: What did Loretta Lynch know, and when did she know it?
Question 4: What did Robert Mueller know, and when did he know it?
Question 5: What did Barack Hussein Obama know, and when did he know it?
Any variance in any of their stories must be immediately determined to be a Process Crime to be followed up with the maximum number of years in prison for each offense, which is 30 years.

Papa was the mole....plus two more in cahoots. Funny how Mueller swooped up this unknown....and got him to lie. It was a setup....he's now FBI, CIA "protected".

So we are supposed to keep the identity of the FBI spy a secret to avoid embarrassing other countries, which were working with the Obama administration to try to ensure that Trump lost? Makes sense.
To: mandaladon
The definition of “top-secret” is: “containing information whose unauthorized disclosure could result in exceptionally grave damage to the United States.
Or, in this and many other cases, information that may cause exeptionally grave EMBARRASING information to the Deep State.

Ok, kicking myself for missing that one!

CIA under communist Muslim director Brennan was Obamas most potent secret weapon. Short of having the Caliph move into the West Wing it was the best he could do.

If our intelligence services are worried about damaging relationships, they should look into a mirror.

Almost every report I've read about this story has had a misleading headline. A "mole" would be someone actually working inside the Trump campaign, but none of the information in the original reports actually says that. The DOJ -- and the related Washington Post report -- simply refers to FBI/CIA assets who had some involvement in the investigation.
Neither Joseph Mifsud nor Stefan Halper, for example, would be considered a "mole" under any definition of the word.

Given what we know now, we need to assume that there are paid moles in the WH and that phone taps are active on members of the administration as well as the conservative press.

Congress needs to pass a LAW that
any redaction of any document within any government agency that is done for the purpose of SHIELDING EMBARRASSMENT OF ANY INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS and not for purposes directly related to PROTECTING NATIONAL SECURITY is a FELONY punishable by a $100,000 fine and TEN YEARS in federal prison.
DONE!
