I believe you are right when you consider only the current members of the Senate and House who were introduced. The four current senators there included Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and (Repubican) Lindsay Graham.

I could be wrong, but I think that all the current House members there were Pubbies as well.

Joe Lieberman was, I believe, the only former Dem Congressperson present.

Wonder if there were any current Dem legislators who wanted to go but were thwarted by Pelosi and/or Schumer.
